Proximity to airport

Hotel has a great location to Dulles and the free shuttle to the airport is another plus. Rooms spacious and comfortable.

Nice service, front desk is very friendly and courteous, room is clean. Maybe need to add dishwasing detergent will be great since you provide spoons and dishes.

TRIP TO THE 58TH INAUGURATION.

Pros: The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower and bathroom area was clean. The bartender was exceptional.
Cons: The most important thing was the Wi-Fi experience was the most annoying in years. There was forced login from room to lobby and back. Better on bus.
Location: Nothing nearby and since all the events were in DC, a transportation information guide would have been invaluable.
Upon arrival, free shuttle to the hotel was good (every 30 minutes). We arrived around 5:30PM and we had an easy check-in and inquired about a Happy Hour and the clerk said they didn't have one. We came downstairs to eat around 6:15 and were told the Happy Hour ends at 6. We went to the desk after we ate so we could find out how to travel to downtown DC from Dulles Airport Hotel. The clerk suggested only one way by taking the shuttle to the airport and catching the 5A bus to L'Enfant Plaza, then take the Metro. When we returned home, we had to wait for 30 minutes in the cold for a bus. When we arrived at the airport waiting for our shuttle to the hotel, we met a couple from another hotel that informed us that the best way is to catch a Silver Express at the airport to the Restin Metro Station. This gets you to the Metro system outside of the city and you're not out on the street. After returning to the hotel we inquired at the desk about the best way to commute and they acted like they knew nothing about it.

First to time in Washington DC

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the staff were outstanding. The hotel isn't exactly at the airport but close enough. I had breakfast in the restaurant my morning. And, again, the staff could not have been nicer. Even the limo driver who took me to the metrorail station was a good guy. The line, which runs into DC, will eventually go out to Dulles airport. So if you're flying into Dulles stay at the Westin and take the train into DC.

Disappointing

Pros: Excellent shuttle service.
Cons: Attention to details in room cleanliness and maintenance issues.
Location: Isolated location.
Got in late from airport. Get to room and open fridge to store medication, which has to be refrigerated, and fridge is broken. I call the front desk and they refuse to move me to room with functioning fridge. Tell me to come back down to lobby and they will store it in kitchen fridge. I'm too exhausted to argue...but this is not appropriate response to the situation. Fix your fridges. People expect to be able to use them.
