長城ウォークに適した宿

Posted Jun 25, 2016 on Hotels
長城ウォークにとって、ロケーションが良い。 泊まるだけと思っていたが、思いのほかくつろげたし、朝食も良かった。 きれいにリフォームされていているが、掃除が今一つのところがあった。

Quaint old repeater

We were there to explore hadrians wall and the nearby historic landscape. This location was perfect for that! It was a quaint and comfortable place, and we were served a perfect homemade full English breakfast with other continental breakfast options as well.

B&B very near to Hadrian's wall

The room was pretty small, and needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. Great location and decent breakfast.

Posted May 21, 2016
Pros: room , food , location.
Cons: Layout of room and some communal areas may not suit everyone.
Location: Near to Haydon Bridge , close to roman wall and nearby historical sites and museums.
Clean comfortable room , homely atmosphere , the proprietor and host friendly and welcoming.

Repeater station, unfriendly

Posted May 23, 2011 on Hotels
we were not impressed with the welcome received at this venue. i do not like dogs, and a large great dane was left to wander around at will. We were not offered a key for our room. We were treated as though we were students (I am 58 and my son 37), and not as what we actually were, paying guests! We were so unimpressed that we (although paying for the room) checked out and stayed elsewhere.
