Bedste B&B i AlnwickPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Lyst og venligt. Rent.
Location: Beliggenheden i top. Tæt på centrum og nem at finde når man kommer kørende udefra.
Venlig velkomst. Dejligt lyst stort værelse i moderne stil med privat badeværelse. Morgenmaden meget lækker. Man kunne vælge mellem flere ting. God service. Beliggenheden super. Meget tilfreds.

Immaculate, comfortable, quality breakfastPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: good quality furniture, fittings and food
great quality guest house, super comfortable bed and pillows, huge tv in our room (top floor with separate bathroom), thoughtful hostess tray, delicious breakfast, quality everything! Having a separate bathroom was not a problem, still felt private. Great double sized shower cubicle, nice complimentary toiletries. On the main road in which is busy is the day, but very quiet at night and didn't disturb our sleep. The carpets are superbly clean; not a speck of dust, even in the public areas and stairs!

Handy for exploring local and wider areaPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: The bed was so comfortable! A memory foam mattress was great and the room was spacious. Also the shower was easy to use and powerful.
Cons: A wardrobe rather than hanging rail, blackout blinds/curtains instead of slatted blinds and a second bedside lamp would be useful.
Location: Alnwick Castle and gardens are a short walk away (five mins) and the town wall/gate is seconds away also.
The room was very modern, clean and comfortable with some nice touches and gadgets with a great homely feel. Wifi was fast and easy. The bathroom across from the room was spacious and also well-catered. Parking was catered for via the Plough pub over the road, which had plenty of space and no issues except for the tight alley ways getting into and out of it. Breakfast was also tasty and very filling, although orders have to be placed earlier in the evening beforehand.

Centrally located B&BPosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: The cleanliness and attention to small details.
Cons: It did not feel "homely" - rather regimented.
Location: Centre of Alnwick. Close to Barter Bookshop. Within easy walking distance to Alnwick Castle and Castle Gardens.
Spotless accommodation. Central position. Well appointed large bedroom. Delicious well cooked breakfast with lots of choice.

Near to town centrePosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Great location
Location: Alnwick Castle and gardens
Had a very enjoyable stay and Leo the host is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our room was not cleaned overnight as he did not have a spare key to get into our room as the previouse occupant had taken the key. Hence the lower mark

Fussy about footwearPosted Sep 17, 2013 on Hotels
Clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet but on the small side. The owner appeared obsessed about clean shoes and may guests went about in their stocking soles. The bedroom did have a very light coloured carpet, but this is a business after all
