Room was a decent choice for a cheap and quick overnight stay. My room itself was clean and comfortable, but found several things about this spot unpleasing. My cheapy coffee machine had a plastic piece cracked off that kept it from brewing. (I was able to makeshift rig it to work though.) The pepsi machine had an out of order sign on it that read "please use machine on other side of building". No big deal, so I walked to other side of the building only to find that all of the 8 soda & water options were "sold out". I was glad to see a hot tub at this facility, but disappointed that the water temp didn't get so hot. You can hear highway traffic from the room, but I am able to sleep through that. I am a non-smoker but I am not always happy to see a smoke-free hotel advertised. This often means smokers are outside and on balconies where you can hear them at night. Also arrive to the breakfast area well before 9am. I arrived at 8:50 to take a few things back to my room. They were starting to break it all down and showed that they were not happy to see me walk in. This is all simple, quick grab stuff and shouldn't be so strictly enforced.

Not a bad hotel for an overnight affordable stay

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: added amenities that were not expected
Cons: New Air conditioning unit
Location: Off the beaten path but near a Denny's and shopping area
Outdated heating/cooling system and hair dryer, fridge and coffee maker in room that wasn't expected. overall not a bad hotel, could use some more updates though.

For the price we couldn't complain. Suite was very spacious and clean! The hotel grounds could be renovated; carpets need to be replaced.

Decent room, amenities lacking

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Location: Near shopping and Indiana Dunes
Our room (king with frig/microwave) was fine. The pool and hot tub were broken when we checked in. They were fixed somewhat the next day (hot tub was warm, but no movement). Breakfast had no eggs, meat, or anything hot. The staff was pleasant. Frustration came because we wanted to change our reservation, but we could not because we had booked through Expedia.

With a little more attention to maintenance and cleaning it could a very nice motel - the lack of an elevator made the 2nd story room a bit of a challenge.

not nice

Posted Aug 9, 2015
Got to the hotel the pool was closed, doesn't have a good welcoming look from the outside, has an odor when you walk in the door, one of the front desk lady wasn't friendly.

Nice being next to Denny's but pool wasn't clean

Posted Aug 9, 2015
Found feces in the pool and watched them pull out a needle out of the filter when getting ready to drain the pool meaning they didn't clean the pool often. The staff and rooms were fine
