Nice, BUT disappointed

Pros: Room was what you would expect for the price range of $93-100.00.
Cons: Honesty of staff.
Location: Location was easy to find but the part of town was a little sketchy.
The room was nice, breakfast decent except for the teaspoon of coffee grounds in bottom of cup, and the big disappointment came from the housekeeping staff. We left our charger and cable for the IPAD and they didn't turn it in. We have checked and double checked our bags and KNOW that it was left plugged in on the desk, but they can't seem to find it. Double and Triple check the room before leaving or you won't get it back!

Pros: Seconds away from expressways and tollways. Friendly customer service, comfortable rooms.
My boyfriend and I needed a weekend get away, to get away from our day to day stresses.

Good choice

The only complaint I have is that the room had some kind of wet smell when you first came into the room, as if they just cleaned or something. But other than that, stay was great!

Fine hotel outside of Chicago

The hotel was great for my stay en route from Michigan to Chicago, without the need to pay an extraordinary price as I would have at a downtown hotel. The hotel is a typical Fairfield Inn - no surprises.

Nice hotel but build cheaply

Very nice new hotel. I would recommend staying here. The only issue I had was that at first glance the hotel looks amazing. However, when you finally try to use your room, you'll notice how cheap it was finished. Stop bolt would move/operate, bathroom door lock didn't move/operate, shower curtain rod was installed upside down, and of course the dreaded remote didn't work. These are small issues, but were bothersome. I would stay here again.

overpriced

Pros: breakfast was decent.
Cons: overall attention to detail by the staff
checked in around 8:30 pm and the attendant was pretty dry and not welcoming. Hotel was booked for 2 nights but when we returned to our room at 1:30 am on Thanksgiving (night 2) our key wouldn't work. I went to the front desk to learn that we were considered checked out. They corrected this and gave us new keys. On the evening of day 1 there was water dripping from the above floor where the ice maker was which was next door to our room. The hotel was a good location for us but for the quality of the room, this hotel is very overpriced.

Hotel nice, but night staff not!

The front counter associate was very rude and condescending the night we checked in. There was an error on our part with the reservations via a third party and while that was explained she (Samantha) was unhelpful, curt, unpleasant and did not try to help or even speak in a customer friendly tone. Very dissatisfied. Other employees informed us that she is often this way with guests. Sad representation at the front desk!!
