Staff very accommodating

I wasn't happy with my view, due to hotel construction outside, but James went out of his way and was able to find me a room I liked. He was so patient. The room was great.

Overnight stay

The price, location, and facilities were very nice. The staff was not very attentive. At check in I had to stand at the front desk for several minutes while the clerk watched a basketball game on the lobby TV. He finally looked over and saw me and came and checked me in. In our room we had nor regular coffee and called the front desk to see if someone could bring up some. We were told they didn't have anyone to bring it up and ask if we could come down and get it. We decided to wait until morning and call again. About an hour later the front desk called our room and informed us the coffee would be brought up in a few minutes. The clerk that checked us in brought the coffee. We wondered if this guy was the only staff working on a Friday night! In our room one light was missing a bulb. The other issue with the room accommodations was the tub/shower water would not get very hot.

Inexperienced help

Was charged twice for my room. Put in wrong room at first but the corrected that with a nicer room. Bath water not very hot. One light out in bath room. Dripping sink. Was very disappointed with breakfast situation. Was not told it wasn't free when checking in. Was not told about vouchers. Breakfast very expensive. First Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in that didn't have free breakfast. Not a happy customer.

In regards to breakfast, we are a full service Holiday Inn with a Restaurant and Bar and breakfast is not included in our room rate. Unlike Holiday Inn Express which is a limited service hotel and does not have a restaurant but does offer complimentary breakfast. Your comments will be shared with our staff to ensure they are communicating properly to guests.

Not a 4 star hotel

The room was nothing like the pictures. We couldn't even open the room door all the way, because it hit the desk in the first room. The television in the bedroom would not work. To their credit they did replace it the next day. There were holes in the curtains, which someone at least attempted to fix with clear duct tape but they didn't close the holes. Only certain rates get a breakfast voucher, this was not listed when we booked our room. So we left the hotel to go get breakfast. The buffet there is $10 a person. And yes that was the option for that morning.

Room for graduation trip

Pros: Convenient to restaurants in the area.
Cons: Making sure that rooms are assigned based on reservation
The reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds and 3 adults. When my wife and daughter got to the room it had only 1 bed and a sofa. The manager then said they had no other rooms available. They provided bedding for the pull out sofa, but it wasn't very comfortable for our daughter. They offered 1000 points in their IHG plan but we don't travel much. They then agreed to a reduction of about 14% in the room rate. I don't think we will use Holiday INN again. .

Close to shopping mall

Our room was dirty, floor wasnt vacuum, the pillows were terrible. Water was dripping from the ceiling. They have to transfer us in different suite. One key not working.
