A beautiful property on the edge of town. Close to all facilities and yet far enough away from the centre of town that you feel you are in another world. A delightful host, beautiful surroundings and a great room. A very enjoyable place to enjoy Tasmania’s North west.

A true home away from home. Loved everything about our stay. Rachel is a thoughtful host and available to assist with anything, or just have a chat. The room was very comfortable and Wynyard is a great place to stay. Breakfast was great also.

The genuinely friendly welcome and service is such a pleasure to experience. The room and bathroom were comfortable and practical. Providing us with the cheapest 'laundry service' in Australia was the icing on the cake. Sincere thanks Rachel Shirley and Denzil

Our stay here was very comfortable and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly! We were provided with a wonderful cooked breakfast. The house and garden area were very picturesque.....would've been the place to stay if we were staying longer in Wynyard. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay. It was friendly, cosy, comfortable and pleasant. Alexandria B&B is in a great location, not too far from the centre of Wynyard, and right near a number of great walks.

The property was very homely& beautifully decorated ,very clean. Had all that we needed. Yummy breakfast. The Host Rachel was lovely, very friendly & we also met the family dog. We would book there again when traveling to Wynyard. Very Pleased with our stay.

The friendly service at this lovely property is 1st class. We received a very warm welcome from our host and her lovely dog. The room was very comfortable and followed up the next morning with a very nice continental breakfast. We highly recommend this property

We are positioned on the river in rural location, but only 2 minutes drive from town - giving us quiet location but still close to everything, We hope to see you again soon.

This B&B is in a quiet part of the town, near the river, and was delightful. My room was comfortable, with my own deck with chairs and a table, to enjoy the afternoon sun. A generous continental breakfast is included in the tariff, and Rachel the owner is lovely- very friendly and welcoming.

Great B&B in Wynyard
Great choice for an overnight stay in Wynyard. Rachael could not have been more welcoming. Right next to the river with a nice walk to town centre.

Well worth the stay

This place was lovely and has an outdoor pool...yes..in Tasmania!! Room had double aspect and was large and quiet. Breakfast was brought to us by the owner and was more than substantial. Well worth tucking in to. The accommodation was a fair walk from town but the weather was lovely so it didnt matter to us.

Room newly renovated.
Our room was very comfortable spacious with our own small covered verandah next to the garden. Very clean quiet with a pleassnt aspect to the hills around the Cape. Our host Rachel was lovely, friendly and accomodating. Well positioned just outside the town. Although not a cooked breakfast there was a good selection of items.

A Federation Gem.
The owners were friendly and made my stay a relaxing break. Can't wait to repeat my visit in the newly renovated room. A lot of hard work going into keeping the Federation style while including modern facilities. Thank you Alison for making my stay so enjoyable.

We had a brief but wonderful stay at Alexandria B&B. Rachel was most gracious and hospitable. The room was charming, impeccably clean, and comfortable. The location is a bit out of town, and very quiet. The experience was intimate. Continental breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, juice, and toast, and the portions were ample.

Excellent B&B.
We felt it more of a home stay than a overnighter. Our breakfast (ordered on arrival.) was delivered to our room exactly on time. 8.00am .Breakfast Perfect boiled eggs Toast, English muffins with fruit and honey. The room was most amenable double bed + single. A very good B&B . we loved it.
