It's an old motel. The bedding, sheets, towels were all clean but the motel itself is quite old and visible on the inside in the rooms.

Our room was clean with good bed linen and comfy beds. Food in the restaurant lovely. Staff friendly. Dont understand some of the other negative reviews. Wasn't the case for us. 4 star motel at 3 star prices. Great find.

Older motel needing an update. Room size was fairly small. Bathroom had a shower over the bath. Television reception was poor most of the time. WiFi could not be made to connect - room was a long way from the office so this may be the problem. Easy walking distant to the town centre and good on-site parking.

A handy base for the railway excursion.
A fairly typical motel room. Bedlinen was clean and the bed comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious.

Not even worth 1 star! As you open the door the musty/mouldy smell hits you, there is a wet section if carpet in the middle of the room, and when you step on it water seeps all around your foot!! Bathroom ceiling is covered in mould.

Although the room was very clean we found it very cramped and lacking many basic facilities common in most motel rooms. There were two coffee mugs supplied and teamakings. Our question is why supply a microwave but no plates or cutlery to eat your food with? Also, why was a toaster not supplied? Also, why only one chair? The room was marketed as a "luxury" room which in our view it is definitely NOT, and there is no window which can be opened and no exhaust fan in the batjhroom. As experienced travelers we found this motel severely lacking in several ways. Lin Richards

The room was warm. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant was not open. There was no knives, forks or spoons to even butter bread. Very few shops were open in town ...no toaster. The shower- head was loose.... The staff were amenable on arrival and departure.

Electric blanket didn’t work & room heating was not in when we checked in. Electric blanket was fixed. We had no hot water that night at all & had to wait & shower in the morning which was not great as we had just come off a tour & we were cold & wet.

Check in time is from 2pm. You checked in at 12.50 and there was no request for an early checkin, in which case we would have made sure the heaters were turned on. We turn the heaters on at 2pm. The electric blanket was changed straight away. I did explain that the hot water had NEVER run out before but the guests in the next room admitted that they had had very long showers as they were used to tank water and took advantage of unlimited hot water. I offered you to shower in another room if you wished to without having the inconvenience of relocating totally - you did not take up this offer.
