Lovely hotel close to transportation

Posted Sep 13, 2017
I love most things about this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the location is great, and the breakfast is quite nice. The only problem was the bed. It was so old it sunk in the middle and you were sleeping on the hard springs. Quite uncomfortable. If they could fix that, I would give it a perfect score.

Location is great. But size of room was an issue. No AC in the room. I was there when it was quite warm

Exceptional value for money in central London.

Posted Jul 31, 2017
No complaints at all - only comment for larger guests would be the single room was very small and possibly the bathroom could be a little challenging but for one person had all the amenities needed. Very clean, staff helpful and continental breakfast to suit all tastes. Great location, quiet yet central and lots of eating places nearby. Close to 2 tube stations on different lines making travel easy. Less than 30 minutes from Euston station. Great location for walking too with parks one way leading to Knightsbridge or Marble Arch and Notting Hill/Portabello Road the other.

Wonderful/beautiful location, great breakfast

Posted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: Breakfast. Location. Clean. Small bar with pleasant lounge if you want a beverage while waiting/before going.
Cons: Only one elevator so it can be a little slow. That's the only flaw I could see.
Location: Next to Kensington Gardens and Palace, and 3 tube lines literally 3-5 minute walk. Good services/cafes/pubs all on the main street.
The breakfast staff was a particular highlight - like staying at a much nicer central london "posh" hotel. They were attentive, got to know us over a few days and remembered our likes/dislikes. An included breakfast with lovely service is a great way to start each day before going to work/tour.

Thoroughly nice hotel in great location

Posted Jul 5, 2017
Pros: Location, room
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Right on Queensway, plenty to do and see.
Completely enjoyed my stay at the Phoenix. Room was quite spacious by London standards, Everyone on the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good. Location excellent with 2 tube stations close by. Good, safe feeling neighborhood, plenty of shops nearby for anything you might need. Decent restaurants as well. Will be back ASAP.

Great location

Posted Jun 29, 2017
Pros: The location, affordable rate that included a good breakfast, cleanliness and friendly staff.
Cons: The size of the rooms. Not much space to move around, very compact.
Location: Centrally located near 2 train stations and on several bus routes. Laundromat, restaurants and the option of several supermarkets close by.
First time that I've stayed in the Bayswater area and would recommend it.
