UK Vacation

Location was convenient to restaurants and trains however room was not vacuumed each day and room service was average. Would recommend to others if looking for basic room at a decent location. Hotel staff accommodating otherwise.

Two Night Business Trip to London

Pros: Inexpensive with a decent buffet breakfast.
Cons: A lot.
Location: A few blocks off from Hyde Park so with a bit of walking there was a decent amount to see or one could easily catch the train to other areas.
It took me a bit to actually find the hotel as the front was not clearly marked as being the Premier Notting Hill. The lobby was quite nice and check-in went smooth. The room was small, but I knew that at booking so it was not a concern. As I really looked around the room it did appear clean, but beat up. Wall paper was pealing, bed skirt was tattered, and iron leaked. When I checked out the bed, the mattress was a bit too broken in for my taste. It was almost like sleeping in a not-so-fun cradle. The room safe did not work and required the battery to be changed. The shower head leaked pretty excessively from the side of the shower head and where it joins the tubing. My second night there I called it an early night as it was raining pretty good (yay England). Around 11pm water started dripping on my face which instantly had me jump out of bed. Not only was water leaking from the ceiling (at the fastest it was about one drop per second), but also it was leaking from around one of the over head lights. The night crew maintenance was called, who could not figure out how this was happening. By the time the leak stopped (on its own) half of the mattress was soaked. I was put in another room for the remainder of the night. In the morning I gathered my things and checked out, which was my plan anyway prior to the leaking ceiling.

A.C. not working in 1/3 of hotel

The staff were nice however the a.c. was not working. I was there on the hottest day in June in over 40 years. Not a good day to have a.c. issues. I was told only thing they could do was put a fan in my room. I could not open window more than 2 inches and there was a bad smell outside so I kept window shut. . There was no manager there at night so staff could not refund my payment. In the morning the manager was very apologetic and even paid for my taxi to transfer to other hotel. The staff was nice but they needed 24 hour manager on hand and they needed emergency a.c. repair instead of waiting till next day to have a repair company come out. One guest was complaining that it had been 6 days with no a.c. in her room. Many other guests were in lobby complaining. I spent over 2 hours on phone with Expedia and they transferred me to another room the next morning

Convenient location

Pros: The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming
Cons: The rooms are the size they are but from the website it wasn't obvious that the room was so small.
Location: Location fantastic, nice and close to the Main Street for shops and restaurants. Five minutes to Portobello Road, 30 minutes-ish to Westfields
The hotel was in a very convenient location, short walk to restaurants and shops. The staff were excellent. The only thing we found was that the room was very small. We booked a deluxe room and expected something a little bigger than a broom cupboard! However we were only there for one night and it was a great base for accessing the park, tube and buses

Don't get fooled by the pictures

Pros: Location was good
Cons: Too many things to list here
The rooms are too small even by European standards. After we got in the room with two regular size suitcases there was not enough room to close the door. After we complained, they provided another room that was maybe 10 sf bigger, but at least we could open our luggage. If you are claustrophobic don't stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel

Pros: Staff made you feel very welcome
Cons: Rooms were clean but on the small size.
Hotel very quite and calm, close to tube station, very close to Portobello Road.

Nice hotel at a great location

Pros: exceptional customer service.
Cons: Air conditioner as the rooms could get slightly hot but I did hear they were remodeling the rooms so I am thinking they will improve this issue.
Location: Bayswater and Queensway stations, cafes, shops, pharmacy and Whitley's shopping center.
It was a good experience, staff is extremely nice and helpful. We met the manager (I believe her name was Ms. Zara) and told her how pleased we were. This is our second time staying here and we will continue to stay here on our visits to London.

Good location

Pros: Fruit bowl, soft drinks, good breakfast selection. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Change the door to the en-suite - see the above.
Location: Kensington Palace, shops and transport.
The room was small. The En-suite has a frosted glass door opposite a mirror, when your partner is sitting on the bed they can see you sitting on the toilet and getting ready to shower. There is a fridge that did not work, milk went off after just two days. Not enough space in wardrobe for clothes and coats. Came back to room at 3.30 and room was not cleaned. Asked reception and they said that our room is on the afternoon list. Room was very hot. No welcome pack to explain time of breakfast, heating instructions etc.
