From the outside it didn't look that nice so was a bit apprehensive about staying. Once inside it was pleasantly surprising, nice and spacious. Lovely and clean with huge bedrooms. Would stay again especially with the price being a very reasonable £59.00.

We stayed here when visiting relatives in nearby Hucknall. Rooms were of a decent size and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and walk in shower powerful. We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast but this was nice and a good selection however I felt breakfast was a tad over priced. There appeared to be plenty of parking. I would stay again definitely.

We were in town for cousin's wedding. The hotel was in walking distance to the various meet up spots, as well as Nottingham castle (out the door and across the street). The staff were attentive and were quick to amend when needed. The rooms size was decent in UK standards; please do not compare to what one is use to in N. America. Yes, it did get tight and hard to maneuver around when the two suitcases were open. But, it was clean and had modern furnishings. They provided a fan to use to cool down the room during the hot weather. The private bathroom had bath and shower wand combo. Although this hotel does not have a full service restaurant on site, they provided a great selection for breakfast from cold (including cold cut and cheese) to hot food which we paid for in advance. In lieu of a full service restaurant they partnered with nearby restaurants where you were able to charge to your room.

"Friendly comfortable hotel in town centre of Notts"
We have now stayed twice at this hotel and plan to visit a few more. The staff are very friendly in reception and in the restaurant. The room was large and well kitted out.It was clean and had been done to a good standard. The towels are folded up into swan shapes on the bed The cocktail waiter enjoyed the theatre of making the cocktails which are not cheap but worth the wait. The breakfast was superb. Full English as good as i have had anywhere and a full range of fresh fruits and dried fruits / yogurts and cereals as well as juices and a newspaper.
Went to a pub around the corner(Cant recall the name) so we could sit outside in the sun and ordered just a pint of beer, pointed to one which when poured looked a nice golden brown colour - however I was then asked for £8:50 for one pint (Its apparently a very special brewing process).
The hotel is only a 2 -3 minute walk to the retail therapy areas. There is also a tesco express a minute walk. The train station is less than 10 minute walk.
We will definitely be looking for a concert or show to go to just so we can book again.

Arrived at the hotel around 10pm for an overnight stay with one child. Upon arrival parked very easily due to distinct number of cars, checked in quickly enough and stated in room 101, the room at a quick glance looked OK. The following morning in the daylight you could see the room looked very tired, the chair in the room was heavily stained as was the carpet, in the bathroom pipes and exposed wall were left unboxed which let the finish down. We went down for breakfast at 8am and were the only guests. The choice was £10.50 for a cooked breakfast or £8.50 for the continental option, both my son and I are not the full cooked type of people so picked the continental option, at £8.50 we were both left alittle disappointed due the lack of options, now considering it's a 4* hotel you would expect a larger range of products on offer, I felt guilty giving my son some of the fruit available as he would have eaten all of it available given the amount. The room only cost £59 which included parking which for me was good value overall. Not too sure why given the hotel was so quiet a twin room couldn't have been given along with a slightly bigger room, it was clearly the smallest in that area of the hotel, a friend was also staying with his son as we were attending a football competition the following day and his room was at leat 50% larger than 101 and he booked after myself. Overall very competitive price for the room which appeared to be set in nice grounds, food not the best for price
