Hilton Nottingham Pet Friendly & Really nice
Stayed here on Boxing Day as we were going out to a club a five min walk away from the hotel We took our french bulldog with us to stay in the hotel and he was very impressed with the squeaky bone toy he was given at reception and took it home to play with . Quick and easy check in can’t remember the young man’s name but he validated our parking ticket so we got 20 percent off. And he was very helpful . Huge car park right opposite the hotel if you can’t get a space at the hotel as it’s quite limited We had a lovely room overlooking the main rd and it was very quiet spacious and lovely walk in shower . We did take our dogs crate with us and he was happy to sleep in there at night in the bathroom . So if your taking your pet remember to take a travel crate It was our first time traveling and staying in a hotel with our dog but it was very pleasant and easy to do at the Hilton Nottingham and I would definitely recommend it as a pet friendly hotel in Nottingham We had to pay an extra £25 deposit for our dog to stay which was absolutely fine .

Recommended. Nice spa!
A good choice for a business trip, staff were polite, there is parking space across the street and you get 30% off from Hilton hotel. There is also a big swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Breakfast was pretty good and there was a lot of choice! Recommended.

Christmas stay in Nottingham
Helpful friendly reception as soon as we arrived room was perfect. The pool sauna and steam room were lovely and the breakfast is well worth the money situated in the middle of Nottingham City it is a perfect place to stay

Couldn’t be better
Everything was fantastic - staff couldn’t have done more to be helpful. We used all the facilities including the pool and everyone we encountered were really friendly (and happy even though it was busy) Breakfast was exceptional, struggle to think of anything they didn’t have - we certainly got our moneys worth!

Ok, but could be better.
The bathroom door is ridiculously heavy, an older or infirm person would struggle as no handle to pull it open. The bathroom sink was blocked on arrival. Rooms are quite small but in an excellent central location. The doggy welcome bag was a nice touch.

The breakfast and staff were very good. The room however was tiny and not in our opinion habitable. They offer room service but there no where to eat other than on the bed. My wife had to go in the toilet in order to have a enough room to put her boots on and we had to hang our coats on an ironing board which you have to put up in the hallway outside if you wanted to use it. I appreciate its an old building but i have stayed in Hiltons in York, Newcastle, Liverpool, Bournemouth etc and never had this issue. Will not use Hilton again through fear of getting a similar room. Will stick to Marriot or Holiday Inn where I have never had this issue.

Check in was easy but I resented being asked for a £25 deposit in case of damage, I refused to pay as it was not mentioned anywhere when I booked. There could be a map of Nottingham city centre in the room, finding where places like restaurants are proved difficult. Otherwise the room was clean, comfy beds, although no drawers to put things in, no cupboard to put bags or cases and things in. Cocktails in the evening were very good. I pre paid breakfast but it was not up to my standard, under done hash browns, scrambled eggs ok, the usual cheap fare but at £11 I would expect better quality. The toaster burnt the toast as it gets too hot. Staff were very polite.

Right in the city centre, parked in car park opposite which is discounted by the hotel. Staff were available and helpful- one of the best hotel staff experiences for a while and I’ve been to a number of different hotels recently. Our twin room was compact but functional. There is an on-site restaurant but no bar lounge. Breakfast was good- especially the coffee!

Convenient location, and comfortable room. The spa and pool however was a let down. Beautiful pictures online however it's part of a commercial non-hotel guest gym / health club so very busy and not in great condition.

Great location and lovely hotel
Hotel is the perfect location right in city centre. A beautiful building with lots of history. Rooms and facilities were high spec. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb cooked fresh and plenty of choice. Only small disappointments was the size of the room ( we booked standard room With king bed) it was very small not enough room to get dressed one side of the bed but, we were told this when booked and offered a bigger room for £20 a night extra, which we would recommend! But we didn’t spend a lot of time in room it didn’t matter too much it was very clean comfortable and nicely decorated and equipped. And the TV was a smart tv but didn’t connect to the internet or phone so we couldn’t watch anything other than couple of basic channels. But this didn’t spoil our stay. We loved the hotel and city and will be back will just book bigger room.

Mixed Review.
Good location, nice breakfast and friendly staff. I had an upgraded room but was put in a room, that I found out had allowed pets previously and there were flees around the desk area. The rooms should be cleaned thoroughly regardless and especially after allowing pets, and those rooms in my opinion should be kept for future visits by other pet owners. I was moved to another room. The hotel has a decent gym and sauna, but the steam room really needs a refurb.

Great visit
Pleasant trip. Parked at Trinity Square instead of outside the front of the Hilton and you walk out directly opposite the hotel and it's cheaper than the hotel offered parking. Hotel was well soundproofed from the major road it sits on and the black out blinds in the room allow for a great night's sleep

Very noisy room, could hear the neighbouring room, we were there with children and a lot of swearing from next door. Had 2 doubles in the room but didn’t expect to find them touching, side by side.

Room 421 - where do I start: - lights didnt turn off. Faulty wiring by previous contractor apparently- kept turning back on all night. - tv controls don’t work. Was told that they hire the tvs and are given ‘all 4 one’ controls. Don’t work- even maintenance couldn’t fix it. No buttons to turn over manually either. - lift not working. Went up and down four flights of stairs multiple times, speak to reception, contact maintenance, due to issues found. - Noise. Knowing I had chosen city centre I was expecting some noise, this was a different level. Old sash windows need some kind of screening inside to reduce the volume. - Parking - were sent to a multi-storey that had a height restriction despite being assured this was not the case :( To be clear staff were all aware of these issues yet continued to put guests in?!! Not interested. Really disappointed and definitely not worth money paid. Did not sleep a wink, nor did the kids. Planned on using the pool and facilities but we were so tired just didn’t bother. On a plus side breakfast was excellent, staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful too :)
