Small room but fine. Electric meter buzz all night so I had to turn it off in the end. Needs a lick of paint as walls grubby . Only one tea bag! Staff nice. Reception area nice.

Nice hotel and right next to Castle and very close to city centre. So location was great! I was on 6th floor so there is a walk up a flight of stairs from the lift which stops at the 5th floor- which I didn’t mind but worried about people with mobility issues perhaps. Room was very clean, shower was great and the bed was amazing- I slept so well. The room is a little small for the price but otherwise ok.

Room was clean and super comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. With prices going up everywhere they are still very reasonable. On the doorstep of Nottingham Castle and few minutes from shopping.

First room had a cracked sink and a toilet that didn’t flush, but the lovely staff were able to move me to a different room that was in MUCH better condition.

Chilly room!
The room was fine, with a great view, but the only heating was a fan heater which had to be manually turned on and made the air very dry. The bathroom had no form of heating whatsover and was freezing! It was a cold night and the windows were covered in condensation in the morning. When the weather is warmer it would be much more comfortable!

An overnight stay for four adults. We have stayed here before & find the staff very friendly & the hotel very clean, from the inviting entrance to the bedrooms. Breakfast is low key & self service, though despite the hotel being quiet when we stayed, there was a choice of cooked & cold breakfasts, toast, juice & hots drinks

Good location
Stayed for a late night out. Requested quiet room and got one at end of corridor- but doors still banged in the morning. Great location, small but functional room. Comfy bed, very small bathroom. Carpets a little worn, ready for a coat of paint but decent enough- cobwebs on the pillars in reception. Didn’t have breakfast as very close to loads of good food places. Was able to leave bag when checked out. Staff helpful but didn’t ask for much.

Everything was lovely except the noisy lift and our room must have had an adjoining wall next to the lift which was very busy but we eventually got used to it and managed to go to sleep - it sounded like a train! I would happily stay again but make sure the room was well away from the lift

Good option in city centre, close to attractions and, if you must, shops. I was only there for one night for a concert and it was fine. If you want to use the hotel parking, you need to book as there are only 10 spaces

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the lobby is stunning. Stayed before, many years ago and had an amazing suite... the room this time round wasn't so great. Obviously just one out of a lot so I'm not judging the whole hotel by the one room but it was 401 and every time the lift went up or down there was a very loud rumble, not what you want for a relaxing stay and it did wake us up a couple times when people were coming back late. There was a ticking noise and a dripping coming from somewhere too which was quite annoying. The bathroom door was hard to open and close as well. Other than that, the room had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Location is perfect, only 5/10 minute walk from the city centre and literally around the corner from the castle.

A pleasant stay
Hotel really well placed for the centre, staff really friendly and helpful both on reception and the breakfast team. Our room was a little small and bathroom dated. Noise from the lifts is noticeable at night, so would suggest requesting room a good way from lift shaft. Breakfast tasty, and great choice, although the fried eggs often were overcooked on yolks due to storage in their covered containers, but they will cook fresh eggs if asked. Quality of everything else was excellent though and the smoothies are superb. Room cleaners were efficient and thorough, I would definitely return if back in Nottingham

Okay but noisy room and bathroom not nice
Hotel was lovely looking in lobby and bar nice. Staff very helpful and welcoming and carparking very good price (although very tight carpark) Room was very small but doesn't bother me. The bathroom was however cold as no heating, shower leaked all on floor and thst was slippy also a bit of black mold on the sealant. Overall bathroom not very good. No central heating hot air heater which was noisy. Out room was by the lift and you can hear it so loud its a very loud lift heard it all night going up and down. Also walls so thin i was woken by a vibrating alarm in the room next to me who also had their TV on so loud all night. Bed was okay small but comfortable enough the window was right behind the headboard which was low and you could not sit up in bed as window ledge there no headboard or wall. I wouldn’t stay again.
