First I was disappointed that there was no parking around the hostel, then the staff was not helpfull to find one. The room we got was different that were on the photos, this one was poor, I understood from the add that the bathroom is in the room but it wasn't. Was on the corridor, always busy. The only positive is that the place is in the center, so very close to every place, but not a family place and not a place when you have a car!

Regarding parking, as you have been informed, we do not have a parking place, you need to find your own, there are public parkings around. Moreover, you have booked a room with shared bathroom, which is clearly stated in our description when you make a reservation. Also, we do not know which room you stayed in since your review is anonymous, but you could have asked at our reception for another room. The hostel is not a family place, it is a hostel. Great staff and rooms a good size with 8 beds.
My stay was fun, but only that the people in the rooms were not as friendly as in other places. This could be more due to my lack of speaking the local language. There was more noise in rooms as people were up late.. again this could be that it was the weekend and the place was full. The rooms were again hotter than needed at night but eventually the temperature became ok in early morning. The front desk was fabulous and very supportive and were courteous to all. The place was very well located. WiFi was poor.

Basic no frills hostel
We got a private room thinking it would be a nice cozy private room. What we instead got were two single beds pushed close to each other in a big dorm room. There were 3 other sets of bunk beds, thus 8 beds total but not occupied. Thus they could sell the room as a private room. It still had a shared bathroom. There was nothing cozy about this stay, especially the 5 story walk up with no lift. Not a bad stay overall, just not really enjoyable.

I liked the location, it’s near to the bridge and the Národní station (7 minutes walking). The check in and check out service was ok. I thought it would be good to lend the lock to the closet and use the luggage room until the check-in time. I did not like the red sheet (which was already on the bed) and the tower provided which was dirty and seemed to have already been used by another guest. The bathrooms aren’t clean but was possible use them. The kitchen is extremely poorly equipped, only the boiling water works right. it hasn’t cutlery available and have to leave a deposit amount every time you need to use the kitchen (they return it when you deliver the key)

Thank you for your review, we appreciate it. We are happy that you liked check in, check out and the lock to the closet. We keep here strict hygienic standards, but the building is a bit older. Since we are a hostel, we wash everything at 90°C and we use disinfection. Regarding kitchen, cutlery is available. As you mentioned, the deposit is fully refundable, it is just to secure the cleanliness and proper working of the kitchen. Thank you for your feedback once again!

Trying to book an airport transfer was difficult as the member of staff didn’t know anything about it as he had only been there two months. I requested to store luggage on the last day and was told when we stored it we had to pay which had not been mentioned, everywhere else I’ve ever stayed does that for free. The mattresses on the bunk bed were awful, the single bed ones were comfy.

Do not trust room description!
The room description said that we were booking a double room with own bathroom.Upon arrival, the hostel administration told us we would be getting a double room with shared bathroom, which was not our booking, and while trying to show them the room description, they refused to look into our booking and only rely on their internal system. What we got instead was a room with two single beds plus two bunkbeds. The condition of the room was poor, beds were in a disgusting state, bedsheets had marks of over use and were not properly cleaned. The pillows had almost not filling left, and the matress itself seemed very old andcould use a replacement. The bathrooms consisted of two toilets and two showers in a hall, to be shared with other 3 rooms with capacity of more than 4 people per room, meaning we had to spend long time waiting to use them, eventhouhg our booking was for private bathroom.

Just about 10 minutes away from Center. Well, this is The only positive thing. Just a few negative points: - room + barhroom hardly cleaned - overwhelmed staff - everything we asked for had to be paid additionally And The worst thing ever: We Both got some Kind of an ugly rash from the beds, so I do really recommend you NOT to Book this Hostel!!!!

I put food twice in the communal kitchen and had food stolen twice and I know it’s a communal kitchen but was told there was nothing that could be done as there is no cameras in the kitchen there is no wifi anywhere but in the lobby and you don’t get told till you are there and the beds are super thin and uncomfortable it’s also super expensive over Xmas and any holidays

Fair deal for the price
No adapters for chargers were available at the reception,free WiFi only at lobby. Could do better with renovation but it was clean and hygienic. Overall for the price it was a good experience.

Decent enough for the price, but the old locks everywhere caused us some problems. My wife went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and didn't turn the key all the way upon return. We awoke at 6am to find someone had snuck into our private room and took our coats, passports, and wallets WHILE WE SLEPT!!! I don't blame the hotel or it's management, but that really sucked. We suspect it was someone on the same floor/suite as us, because we found everything dumped on the street outside the hotel minus the small amount of cash we were carrying. All things considered, that's the best case scenario for us. Lesson learned: ALWAYS LOCK YOU DOOR AND KEEP YOUR VALUABLES SECURED!

Overall a nice place to stay.
The location is very good. people are friendly. it is an old building (so no lift) and hostel but otherwise good common area with computers to work on,kitchen etc. Wifi reception in rooms is not good.

Good location, nice staff, never again.
Room was very dirty. Lock was broken to common area. Shower was poor, noisy, doors didn't keep sounds out because they had gaps around door, bad light, no elevator, lots of stairs, bring your own towels. HOWEVER, it's cheap, 24 hour front desk, and a good location in New Town not far from metro, bus lines. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

It was really bad experience having these kind of people who's smoking and making bad things inside the room...aside from loudness and no respect with roommates, guest are having FUN in the middle of the night. This kind of Hostel is really not recommended. Receptionist (Ladies) are kinda unsupported as well...I told them to put me in another room but no response at all.

Had the worst experience so far. Been solo traveling for awhile now and stayed in many hostels. But chilli is so far the worst. Had a very unwelcoming reception. Lockers in my room were al taken up there's no assigned locker. The bed sheet had holes in it. After the first night started scratching all over. Then I realized... BED BUGS. I stayed for two nights and the bugs had a feast. It's more than a week later and I'm still scratching about a 100 bites all over my body. And I didn't even get an apology. They took it so matter of fact. The room is cheap. But it's not worth it. Pay like a couple of euros more for something decent. Location isn't even that convenient.

The beds are very thin, and you should be able to bring in your own alcohol. The staff were friendly. We didn't stay long and got what we paid for. Good location for walking to everything as well.

Overall our stay was good ... aside from having to climb 7 floors of STAIRS twice a day. There were a steady flow of people going in and out, and the location (once found) was conveniently as most attractions were in walking distance with no need to take public transportation. I would recommend doing some research to find the path of travel through the inner streets. Like other hostels we stayed in in Europe, the toilet and shower were separate, however the small space and lack of shelves/hooks made showering difficult.

All great for price
Overall had a great stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even if they were very busy at times! Our private room was very comfortable and clean. Our only issue was that we had a shared bath and there were definitely too many people for the one bathroom on the floor--we often had to use bathrooms on other floors or in other common areas as ours was constantly in use, and we ended up only being able to use the shower maybe once during our whole stay. But otherwise everything was great--great location, friendly staff, and comfortable room!
