Upon arrival (at midnight), my initial thought was how beautiful the building was. Upon entering the building, there were guests sitting outside the front door smoking weed. There was a group of teenagers in the lobby shirtless/shoeless (contrary to what posted signage indicated about proper clothing). Check-in was easy, I did struggle a bit hearing/understanding the clerk due to all the other activity in the lobby. We went to our room, we were in a room above (I'm guessing) a mechanical room. All night long there were loud noises (like compressors running) in the room below us. It was hard to sleep. We made our way to breakfast in the morning, it was clean, well stocked. My son's cereal was stale. The food was mediocre. The sweet lady keeping food stocked and counters clean was pleasant. We had activities planned for the day then returned in the evening to let the kids play in the pool and my husband and I to enjoy the hot tub. Well, the hot tub was not hot. Barely even warm. Despite signage indicating "No Drinks" in the pool area, other guests were mixing alcoholic beverages and vaping in the pool area. A staff member entered the pool area to collect dirty towels and made no correction of these offenses. And there were not any clean towels available. When my husband went to the front desk to find towels, they could only offer 3 towels for the 4 of us. Will I ever stay at another Country Inn & Suites? Absolutely. Will I ever return to the Novi one? Never.

This place is average due to poor management, customer service, uncleanliness, and outdated appearance. If Alessia is the manager, she could use some additional training. This hotel could a hidden gem if the staff was upgraded as well as it's appearance. It could be an upscale hidden gem, but it's not. The price was reasonable. The bathroom was dirty and outdated.

This property runs a daycare...no adults present and no control leading to comsumer conflict. Ha e stayed heee 5 times over the last 5 years amd will never stay there again....

The room was dirty, walls need to be cleaned, floor needed to be vacuumed. The pool was foggy and gray and the hot tub was dirty and foamy. The pool said open 6am-12am but the front desk kicked all the kids out at 10pm even when the supervision of a parent.

Unfortunately guests don't always follow the rules in regard to the pool. Your front desk clerk knew nothing. We had a room with two rooms/2 tvs. the front room tv would not work (long story short needed new remote). He had no clue what to do but then decided to call a "manager". Well, after awhile we did get a maintenance man who knew to go to another room and retrieve the proper remote. I think housecleaning should make sure that there are the proper remotes in every room before they finish that room. also, the breakfast selection was the worst I have ever encountered in a hotel. The milk machine was broken, two pitchers were suppose to have milk in them - NOTHING. EMPTY. If you can't provide a better breakfast close it down and drop the price for the rooms. People would be happier.

Everyone at the front desk that we came in contact with was fabulous. Our bed was comfortable. However, our room was not very clean. There was food on the floor behind the chair. The tile floor had not been mopped and the carpet was dirty. We called downstairs to request additional pillows and the front desk flat refused to provide us with any additional pillows. The pillows were terribly flat. The towels provided were scratchy and very small. Please invest in some fluffier towels. There was a brownie that was on the floor for our entire stay of 3 nights in the hallway near an employees only entrance on the 2nd floor. And finally, most of the breakfast items were watered down: the cranberry juice was cranberry water, the waffle mix was watered down, along with the coffee and the oatmeal. The corner cutting was very apparent at your hotel and I hope you use this review to take a look at the items mentioned here.

The check in process was quick and easy. The front desk staff wasn’t friendly or informative. We had housekeeping knock and open our door in the morning at 10 am. We didn’t get a chance to tell her we were in the room before she opened the door. Check out us 11am. Unacceptable. Pool and hot tub were dirty and smelled bad. There were zero towels. The towels in the room were awful. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at this price ever.

Disgusting hotel and staff doesn’t care. My first room had a dirty bed with someone else’s hair all under the blankets. I asked for a linen change but they didn’t have any housekeepers on property at the time so I had to change the sheets myself and the set they gave me had stains. The bathtubs are badly stained grey from people’s nastiness. It’s 20 degrees outside and they left the AC on and the window open in my room. Also the toilet was clogged so the offered to give me a plunger to unclog it myself when it was not my doo-ing if you know what I mean. I had to ask to be moved to a second room and it wasn’t any better. There was a big muddy shoe print on the bathroom floor, the beds are hard, and the property smells like cigarettes. Arman was kind but the night hotel staff had little to no empathy. I wish I could upload photos. I was given two free items from the snack bar as a grievance prize. -_- Horrible.

Night shift desk was unfriendly yet efficient. Gym is broken. My pillow smelled horrible and tv did not work. I reported it and it was all taken care of in my room . For the price it is great . The hot tub was hot pool was good. Very quiet and dark. I may stay again.

The hotel have a great price - quality ratio, the breakfast is good and they change it a little bit everyday (some hotels have the same thing everyday), the public hot tube is always available and clean. The hotel looks old but it still is in a good general condition.
