Don't be fooled...

I booked this hotel/spa as a part of the birthday celebration for my wife. The main hotel, pools, spa and restaurants were very nice and received rave reviews from my spouse and children, but the family apartment (B6, Apt. 805) we stayed in on the complex was nowhere near a five star accommodation. Check-in is normally 4pm, but our room was not available for entry until 4:45pm. The woman at the front desk issued me a key for the room at 4pm, but when we arrived at the front door, the cleaning crew was still in the apartment. The cleaning women told us it would be another 30 minutes before the room was ready. My wife complained to the cleaning women that having us wait with three small children was unacceptable and the cleaning women replied that it wasn't her fault. When we were finally able to enter the apartment we were confronted with an incredibly strong smell (cleaning supplies used by the staff) and beds that weren't made properly. The apartment building/s is/are in need of an upgrade/fresh coat of paint. The furniture in the rooms is extremely outdated (old sofas and an old tube television with a broken remote). If the family apartments looked anything like the main hotel this would be a place we would return to yearly.

Disappointing customer service!!

The wifi worked about 10% of the time. It took 3 days to respond to getting our un-usable hair chair changed. We had booked a room with sea view and was assured that if the trees were not there, we would be able to see it!!! The hot water from the tap is more than adequate for tea and coffee, in fact, you would need to let it cool before you drink. Once again we were assured that because it was a mixer tap we just needed to position it to half way and all is fine. Our nearly four year old should be able to remember that, especially in the middle of the night after using the toilet! No she didn't!!! The children entertainers were nothing short of brilliant and their enthusiasm and energy are exactly what was needed. This for me saved us from leaving. The other was the non-refundable payment! When things go wrong and you make a complaint at the time to the hotel, you don't expect them to say "go back to the people who you booked the hotel with" you expect them to bend over backwards to make you want to come again. The apartments in Umag, previous to this stay bought us dinner when their cooker was faulty! 1. Get us a high chair when asked for. 2. Throw in breakfast to make up for lack of sea view 3. Show or get maintenance to sort out hot water 4. Wifi ? Could have been a 5 star review and would have got 2 if not for the children entertainers. We'll look elsewhere when back in that region next year.

Schönes Hotel/Apartments direkt am Meer

Meine Kinder und ich konnten die Ferien relaxen. Sandy beach ist nicht vorhanden. Steiniger Strand! Barfuss Baden nicht empfehlenswert. Das bargeldlose Zahlen ist praktisch, das Geld konnte so im Safe bleiben.

Tyvärr tycker jag inte hotellet lever upp till 5 stjärnor men vi bodde i lägenheten och inte i hotellbyggnaden Dålig städning var det Maten testade vi bara en gång och den var dyr och inte så bra. Det tog även slut och då fanns det inte mer Hade hoppat över maten på detta stället och istället tagit denna inne i stan där det var super trevligt eller i nån av restaurangerna utmed havspromenaden. Lucas blev vår favorit resturang !

Fint hotell med bristande städning på vårt rum

Ett väldigt stort hotell med massor av pooler och barer. Ligger fantastiskt på en sluttning precis vid havet, bra solstolar och lätt att komma i och ur via badkaj. Vi bokade sent och uppenbarligen lyckades inte administrationen på hotellet lösa det, vi hamnade utanför städlistan. Stora problem med städning och också svårt att få dit dem efter tillsägelse, tyvärr. Denna upplevelse sänker kraftigt betyget, MEN hade å andra sidan städningen fungerat så hade våra betyg höjts upp rejält. Vi blev kompenserade både av hotellchefen på plats, sedan också av Hotels.com. Luna på Hotels.com, stort TACK, du såg och kände vår frustation utifrån vår beskrivning - bra ordnat! Vi kommer definitivt boka med Hotels.com i framtiden också, härligt med företag som tar ansvar. Ibland kan små fel och saker hända, livet går vidare ändå.

Teure Zimmer, wenig Service

LAGE perfekt, Angestellte nicht besonders freundlich. Zimmer Sauber beim Ankunft! Dann müssten wir um 18:00 am Abend nachfragen wann jemand kommt die Zimmer zu sauber! Zimmer kosten viel und das Service fehlt!

Lage und Einrichtungen super - Mietpreis zu hoch

Die Lage ist unvergleichbar. Die Zimmer etwas "abgewohnt". Unter der Wohnzimmercouch finden sich Zigarettenkippen.
