You could not ask for a more beautiful resort, the service is great, fun things to do,
Food was just so so .
The one downfall is the pool was icy cold. but we were there in Feb. might make a difference in
the summer. Beach was beautiful lots of chaise longue everywhere.

You get what you pay for at this hotel (assuming you didn't overpay). It's an okay hotel and is what should be expected when staying at a RIU: lots of college-age and young couples wanting to have a good time but also family-friendly. The pool/beach is crowded but not unlike how it would be at any busy hotel. While satisfied with our stay, we would not stay at this hotel again if revisiting Puerto Vallarta. That being said, you could do a lot worse. The service was awesome and the hotel grounds are well-kept. The beach makes up for what the hotel lacks.

Food was delicious. We've read a number of other reviews and I was so concerned I purchased meal replacements just in case. We've stayed at many 5-stars all around the world and the food was on par with our other experiences.

Everyone here was super welcoming and kind to us throughout our stay. They remember your name and call you by your name throughout your entire stay. Pretty impressive.
The restaurants delivered delicious food every night and thoughtful service throughout the night. The breakfast buffet was always great and my husband looked forward to it every morning.
We stayed here for a quick 3 days and spent the whole time by the pool...best place to spend it! Kid friendly but also a swim up bar in the bottom pool made it a great place for people of all ages. Next time we will for sure bring our little one with us. Pool service was the best. Lots of check ins for drinks, food and towels.

We contracted with Expedia for transportation to and from the hotel. They chose Gray Line Vallarta to carry us. Hotel staff told us the taxi fare each way was 140 pesos,(approx.$12 CDN). Gray Line charged us $100 CDN for the round trip. I've tried to reach someone at Expedia to report this exorbitant overcharge but have had no success so far.

Right on the beach, nice pool, lovely breakfast room and buffet. Not ideal for families as there are few activities for children. The hotel has fairly basic facilities so it isn't for party animals but very nice if you want quiet.

This is our fifth year staying at this hotel and we loved it again! The food is excellent the staff wonderful and while not directly on the beach the pool area is great and the sister property is a short golf cart ride away and on the beach. The beach in Neuvo Vallarta is perfect for long walks and people watching.
