A good clean modern hotel

Posted Nov 13, 2017
Had a poor experience of this hotel group some years ago. It was therefore a very pleasant experience to use this location for an overnight whilst visiting the NEC. The hotel has undergone a makeover with new beds, bathroom and general walkways etc. On par with the best in overnight accommodation (Premier inn)

extremely poor house keeping.

Posted Nov 8, 2017
Unclean, there was disgusting stains all over the sofa in the room, holes and stains in the carpet, food stains left from previous guests on the bedside table that hadn’t been cleaned properly! Understand that this hotel isn’t a 4 or 5 star hotel so will lack facilities and services but you would still expect a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene! Will not be returning here ever again!

Good basic one night stop.

Friendly staff, clean simple facilities, comfortable bed. Good parking. We had disabled room which only has awkward low hand washing basin, no sink plug. Decent TV, free WiFi.

Business stay, very clean & comfortable.

Posted Oct 10, 2017
Pros: Convenient to NEC, easy accessed from the South (M6). Good catering outlets & shopping (WH Smiths & Waitrose) on site. Pets allowed.
Cons: Access from the NORTH is not at all easy to locate - needs much better signage. Ideally, parking could be segregated from Service Area users.
Location: Just 11 miles from the NEC, 20 miles from Stoneleigh etc. Very functional location.
Excellent value for a brief stay. Super, helpful staff, Very clean - fresh appearance on arrival. Good work station with more-than-adequate LED lighting. Room was welcoming on entering it. Comfortable bed, lovely crisp sheets & spotless towels.

Needed it for the night for business purposes. Service is excellent and helpful. Close to fast food and coffee chains and right next to the M6. Very happy.

Fantastic Value

Posted Oct 5, 2017
Pros: Convenience and value.
Location: It is a good place to stay for thevNEC.
I stayed here in order to go to the Horse of the Year Show at the NEC. The lady on reception was friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless, there were extra pillows and lots of tea and coffee provided. I booked through Expedia and it was great value. It took about 10 mins to drive to the NEC at 6.30 am. I will go back.
