Small but excellent location and lovely staff

Posted Aug 19, 2017
Pros: Location, friendly and helpful staff and big bed
Cons: Choice of pillows and better breakfast
Location: Brilliant location. It took us half hour to get to the airport. Everything is walking distance.or easy to get to on the metro
The room was small but lovely big bed, my only gripe on that was the pillows are way too soft so although you have two pillows they are not supportive. The room wasn't spacious but it was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was the same with a lovely biggish shower cubicle. The breakfast is 7 Euros each but it wasn't that great so we only ate there once. Better to go outside and get a lovely german sausage bap. We only bought a drink there and another night we asked for ice for white wine and they gave us an ice bucket and ice for the room. The staff were so helpful, We would definately stay again.

Central to everything in the old town

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: All good
Location: Right in the middle of the old town which is easy to explore on foot.
Great little hotel. Helpful staff, small but clean and pleasant rooms. In the middle of the old town. Room a little warm, but fans at reception. Would stay again.

Excellent service

Posted Aug 9, 2017
Pros: Boutique hotel in a good location, within walking distance to anything in the old section of Nurnberg.
Cons: Air conditioning in the rooms
Location: Everything that you would want to do in the old section of Nurnberg is within walking distance of this hotel, i.e. castle, city center, restaurants
The reception staff is excellent. They are accommodating and were very helpful in assuring our requests were met. I would stay at the Agneshof again on my next visit to Nurnberg.

Quiet hotel in the heart of old town

Posted Jul 29, 2017
Pros: The central location and the peace and quiet; the high standards throughout.
Cons: Housekeeping seemed Random. One set of towels was replaced, the other not, one day the waste bin wasn't emptied, the window was jammed...small things.
Location: Just off the main square in the Old Town this hotel couldn't be better located. I recommend the castle, the local red beer at the brewery, the u Bahn.
This is a lovely hotel hotel in the most characterful part of the city centre, close to all shops and markets, the castle area, the u bahn and the train station. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable.

Kitschy charm in lovely area

Posted Jul 28, 2017
Pros: After the room mix up, the staff realized their own mistake and made it right without our needing to hound them or complain.
Cons: We found the bathtub/shower in our room difficult for my husband to use because of a low ceiling (he's 6'6").
Location: We loved the Albright Durer house and the cathedral of St. Sebald
This charming hotel had a lovely breakfast and a retro modern vibe. When we arrived the evening staff didn't recognize our reservation and checked us into a teeny room facing the street which included loud people conversing late at night, but luckily the excellent day staff contacted us the next morning having recognized the mistake and shifted us to a sweet room along the back side that was larger and quieter. My husband says "that place was like a hotel owned by your odd uncle Klaus." Definitely an interesting and quirky place to stay in Nuremberg. FYI: much of the nearby area closes pretty early, we wound up having the front desk order Dominos (the horror!) one night-- which, btw was one of the weirdest pizzas I've ever had. Prepare ahead or take a taxi out, the hotel only has booze.

Good place to stay in central Nuremberg. Summer heat may make lack of a/c in rooms a problem.

We are offering some fans at the reception desk, they`ll help to cool down the room`s temperature during hot periods. Thanks a lot for staying with us and for your kind feedback!
