Stayed here for my first ever Hawaii trip. Great budget hotel, a bit dated but otherwise great! I loved my little room for my solo trip. Area around is amazing, you're 7 min walk from beach.

The room we booked was listed being able to sleep 4 It had a double bed and a very small foton We had booked for 3 people and had to request for a bed to be brought up as there was only the double when we arrived No blockout blinds as listed so be prepared to be woken with the sun and for your neighbours to see in Ok for the price we paid and we didn't expect much For us it was a place to sleep so served it's purpose

Had a great stay at this Hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the open air design of the lobby. My only concern was the cleanliness of the room. It was not terrible or anything, just a lot of small things and harder to reach places that were obviously not getting cleaned. Also I found a half full 1 liter water bottle between the headboard and the wall. which was not a good sign as it was easily seen or felt if one was say, making the bed.

If I can deter one person from this property I would have done a success. The cost of this place is not worth it. When we got there and got ready for bed and opened the sofa bed, the sheets had dirt on it and stains on the sheets. There was hair in the shower. When I called about the sheets they came and brought new sheets. They did not offer to do their job and replace the sheets. They expected us to change the dirty sheets our selves. As soon as I open the door they handed me the sheets and turn around and walked away. Not a sorry or help to change them. Please GO SOME WHERE ELSE!!

Aqua Aloha is a great place to stay if your on a budget. All the basic amenities you need with affordable rooms. Went in expecting normal quality rooms with dated features. And that is exactly what we got and we were okay with that.Again I can't stress the affordability of this hotel. We spent most of our time out and about and came back to sleep. The only gripes we had was the cleanliness. The bathroom door was broken and shower had rust. In my opinion the worse thing I noticed was a couple of small cockroaches which we easily killed. However, other then that great stay.

they took my entire $100 deposit because i asked for late check-in which seems a bit unjustified, just money hungry. stayed for one night, the room was okay but still had to pay for parking on site which sucks too.

Only issue with this hotel is the parking, i paid to park my truck for 200 dollars to park in the garage. And the entrance height is only 6' no trucks or suvs can park in the garage

Aloha BrianThank you for sharing your review. We see you had difficulties with parking, we do have an open lot for larger trucks and vans. Many Waikiki garages are very compact. Waikiki is notorious for the lack of public parking spaces, It is fair that is pretty much any major city either lack of parking or you will have to pay a lot for parking space. While many of our neighboring renovated buildings have added more parking spaces, we are an older building with limited parking spaces. We are working with our neighboring properties for overflow parking because we know that this can be an issue at times, but we are still happy to have an option for those that choose to rent a car. We appreciate your feedback because you will probably help another guest chose to rent a car or take advantage of our public transportation. Mahalo.

Overall, this is a great value for your money. Affordable, clean, friendly staff, on site parking and close to everything in Waikiki, including the beach. We were on the 12th floor so I feel it was quiet for that reason. It may have been louder from outside traffic the closer to the ground you are but can’t say for sure. I read lots of reports of bed bugs in Honolulu but we didn’t find any and they even had pest control come in between our stay there just in case which I felt was good. I personally slept on the pull out couch and gave the bed to my parents. The only negative thing I could really say about this hotel is the pull out bed was very uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. But besides that small detail, it was a great stay and would absolutely come back and recommend this hotel.

First time staying at this hotel after booking it and realized it was the wrong hotel. I kept the reservation anyways and was happy with the outcome. The staff was fast and efficient and check in couldn't have gone any smoother. Will recommend and would definitely stay here again,

The overall stay was awesome. Though the hotel may have been a little outdated, it served its purpose. My wife was skeptical about the place but changed her mind once we stayed. They provided everything a top dollar hotel would. Plus the view of the skyline from the top floor was amazing. The only set back was that they didn’t have a continental breakfast or have their restaurant open, which was permanently shut down. That would’ve made a big difference in me and the family having to decide what and where to enjoy breakfast. But the staff, who were all super friendly, directed us to different locations that did not disappoint. I’d stay there again anytime

The price of the hotel is cheap, but you have to endure these things when you live there. The lights in the room are dim, the decoration is old, water splashes from the faucet, the room smells of urine, and the carpet is dirty. The location of the hotel is quite convenient. The parking fee is 40 US dollars per day. The number of parking spaces is limited. Go back to the hotel early to get a space. The parking spaces are narrow and you need to park carefully.

After reading some of the reviews for this hotel online I was STRESSED, however I stayed anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with my room, was spacious, reasonably clean and had a nice view of the canal. My only real concerns was there was quite a lot of mould in the toilet bowl and when I notified reception they just apologised, and the amount of mirrors in the room kind of freaked me out. The room I had looked like it used to be a connecting room as it had a door inside the closet which did also stress me out as it looked like the room next door is now privately owned. the windows on the outside of the building are alsp not air tight so even if everything is closed and locked the curtains will still move a bit and it can get noisy with traffic outside. overall i would stau here again for the price and location

Laundry available which was a bit old and dirty but did the trick and was very helpful to have. 24/7 staffed desk was great, nothing in Waikiki is ever quiet long but this place was much more quiet than our first hotel off the main strip. The room was nice and very affordable. The desk provided beach towels and chairs. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely time at Aqua Aloha. The staff are very helpful. Good value. While close to everything in Waikiki, it is not right in the middle making it way more quiet and relaxing!
