Hotel is in a great location as they all are in Waikiki, staff are friendly, rooms are not well maintained. Mould and dust are found is most places. Beds are great.

Posted Jun 7, 2017
Pros: Convience
Cons: N/A
Location: Nearby restaurants and the beach was walking distance.
There was only one elevator for the hotel. We had to wait several times to get on it. It was very convienent though.

Hotel is close to beach, that's the only positive.

It's not comfortable staying in this hotel at all! The staff cleans the room everyday but management has a big problem about pest control. Theres a lot of small cockroches. You just see them in the bathroom when you open the lights. We sleep with the lights open because they hide with the lights open.

Aloha, about the pest control, it has been brought to our housekeeping supervisor and front desk supervisor's attention, the corrective measures have been taken. We already scheduled the pest control company to take care of the issues. Thank you for your comments.

Its ok but I wouldnt recommend it.

There were long dark hairs in the bathroom that housekeeping never cleaned up. I had to kill about 6 roaches in my room. No closet or anywhere to hang clothes up. Extra fees for so called amenities you may never use. The walls were so thin I could hear everything in the hall or rooms next to me.

Close to beach and Zoo

Posted May 7, 2017
Pros: Location near zoo which is end I like to be on.
Cons: Make sure your rooms do not have bugs. I have been to Oahu 7 times and never had bugs in hotel room.
Location: Near Zoo be sure to go early before its to hot. LuLu's is a good place to eat.
Cons- Hotel is on a one way street which can be challenging with traffic. Room had a lot of bugs which was pretty nasty. You do not want to leave anything out with fear bugs will be all over it. I myself would have never used the stove area for cooking. Outside hall very loud. Pros- Staff was very nice. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our baloney door once opened could not get it to lock again. Staff did get maintenance up to fix it.

Best value for money in Waikiki

Posted Apr 29, 2017
Pros: Staff, location, room
Cons: Another elevator and wifi that worked consistently.
Location: There is no better location to be in Waikiki
Stayed on 2 different occasions in a 3 week span. Overall assessment: This would easily be a four star hotel with a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and another elevator. As for the gym, there is a park just a 3 minute walk away. As for the swimming pool, the ocean is also just a 3 minute walk away. As for the restaurants, they are also a 3 minute walk away. That leaves the extra elevator as the most needed item on the list. But, for the price this 2-3 star rated hotels beats all competition-hands down. The staff is competent, attentive to needs, and very cordial. I used the wifi and shuttle service included in the resort fee and was generally very happy with both-although the wifi was hit or miss with staying in connection. I commend Doug, Tracey, and Victoria in their diligence and helpful attention in dealing with any questions or needs that I had. I wish the best for them and hope to see them again on my next visit.

Nice, reasonable hotel very close to the beach.

Posted Apr 21, 2017 on CheapTickets
This hotel is very reasonably priced and quite comfortable; and on top of that it is very close to the beach and Diamond Head end of the Waikiki strip. It's also just across the street from the Honolulu zoo and aquarium. Great for the vacation and the budget.

Absolutely dissapointed

Posted Apr 19, 2017 on Hotels
Booked for 2 double bed room, received 2 single bed, asked for change, got REFUSED! Room was much smaller, and no balcony as in the actual have been paid for. No help with the car, just expected the $25 for the hotel's parking spot - check a parking spot for $1/h near by at the Zoo car park.
