Old and tatty

Posted Feb 6, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel is in need of a major renovation
Good location and easy to find. Old and shabby building. Parking spaces left very little space between cars and were difficult to get in and out of. No wi-fi in room, only near the reception area. Carpet in room was torn and threadbare.

Good price compared to other places in the area. We missed a night at the hotel due to weather delaying a flight and received no sort of compensation. Pool was an added benefit, but always in use and crowded.

The waterfall was a nice touch. Comfortable but the room was a bit outdated.

Good location for those who like to party.

The room was nice and clean although it could use a few updates. The staff was super friendly. There was a small kitchenette complete with cookware. It had a two burner stove a microwave and a refrigerator. The balcony and the pool were awesome. It is only a few blocks to Waikiki Beach but it is kind of a shady area in the evening. There are lots of places to go drinking. If you are a young person in your twenties I think this is a good place to stay. The front desk unfortunately forgot my wake up call. Other than that it was okay

Convenient, clean, friendly but dated $$ parking

Posted Dec 31, 2016 on Hotels
Listing advertised free wi-fi but it was only available in lobby and pool area. To compensate, a friendly staffer brought us an Ethernet cable. But there are no Ethernet ports on our devices. If we had known this would be the service, we would have bought an adapter. We had just stayed at a place that chose Ethernet over wireless for health reasons, and they provided an adapter. So we could have adjusted or brought our own $60 part if we knew we needed it. Most folks are here on vacation, but we had to do some business, and needed to check e-mail. The cost of parking was a surprise, but that was on me, because I hadn't researched the Waikiki area.

Noisy and run down.

Very noisy street (banging noise throughout the night), old run down rooms. Too expensive!
