Good. The room was a bit small, but it was a comfortable stay.

Nice hotel next to huge Mall!

Posted Jan 13, 2017
A central located hotel right next door to Ala Moana Center mall. You literally just cross the street and the mall is there. This mall has everything you need and more. The beach/park is located about 2 blocks away. Great location for a shopping weekend stay. Hotel was clean, convenient and safe. Rooms have been updated. Pool area is really nice and spacious with lots of shade area.

Ala Moana Hotel lived up to expectations.

Posted Jan 11, 2017
Pros: Well appointed, clean, comfortable and great staff. Very handy to shopping - connected to the Ala Moana shopping mall by a ramp.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Walking distance to beaches and shopping.
Our room was spacious with ocean views that included magnificent sunsets over the ocean. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We didn't take the buffet breakfasts as in inclusion as we like to dine at different venues, however we received four complimentary buffet breakfasts on arrival and the choices for breakfast were many and varied and very tasty.

Hotel has a bridge taking you to Ala Moana mall. The mall has a great food hall with a good selection of food to choose from.

Very convenient

Posted Jan 8, 2017
Pros: The best thing about the hotel was its location. It is right there at the Shopping Center and you don't need a car to go shopping.
Cons: Our time there was too short to comment on any improvemtn
Location: It's close to the Convention Center and shopping.
Got there with my daughter (an adult) and were given a room but when we entered not only was the bed not made but it had only one double bed. When I had booked the room it was for two adults and had asked for two doubles or a King. Went down again and the lady @ front desk said the rooms that I had booked did not offer two beds. How in the would could they give us one double bed for two adults? I said that we need two beds because there is no way we could sleep comfortably on one small bed? We are Polynesians, and we are not petite people. So she gave us a room with two beds for an extra $50 a day. We had no choice but to take it.. The plus about checking in is that they were able to check us in before the normal check-in time and the lady was nice.

We have two towers, the Kona Tower which is more economically priced only has king beds; we apologize for the confusion. Please hurry back so that we might host you again. Convenient and Quiet

Posted Dec 15, 2016
Pros: Store on 1st floor is like an ABC store and good place to get food items. Remember to get forks. Also has a Starbucks on the first floor. Free wifi.
Cons: Would have been nice to have a some plates and cutlery
Location: lots of shopping and restaurants close by
Booked a mountain view 1 BR suite for four nights. First night was on the sixth floor and the hotel has rooms from floor 6 to 35. Disappointed as this would be worst room in the category. The next three nights was moved to ocean view 1 BR suite on the 28th floor which was same room other end of the hallway but a much nicer view. Checkin was fast, room was clean and in good condition. The suites are the last rooms on end of the long hallway with the double doors. Quiet as no hallway traffic. Nice to be close to Ala Moana Shopping Center providing a large choice of restaurants and stores. Much less traffic noise than the hotels on Kalakaua that we have stayed at in the past. Easier to drive into and out of the hotel for the same reason as this is not it Waikiki. The 1 BR suite has a two burner range, convection oven, dishwasher as advertised but there are absolutely no kitchen ware, cutlery, plates, pots etc. All cabinets are absolutely bare. So if you plan to cook this is not a good choice. Beyond the two mugs next to the coffee maker and two glasses in the bathroom there is nothing else in terms of kitchen stuff. Fortunately we just wanted the extra room but it would have been nice to have a few plates and some cutlery. Wife and I would stay there again as the price for a 1 BR oceanview suite would be comparable to an oceanview room in Waikiki. $25 per day for valet parking. Free wifi but as with most hotel wifi very slow.
