Nice central location close to shopping & beach.Posted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: Central Location and close to everything
Cons: Be nice if the hotel had a bar and restaurant (IHOP is not a proper restaurant!)
Location: Shopping, Beaches, bus routes.
Really close to Ala Moana Mall, Hilton Village, restaurants and beach. Great Assistance from the Expedia Consultant that went out of his way to assist with activities. Staff at the hotel were helpful and welcoming.

Staff membersPosted Nov 23, 2015
when you visit a hotel you want to feel appreciated and wanted. The staff at this hotel was amazing feeling caring staff. My husband and myself was very please with this, you wouldn't have a mansion or a five star hotel but the staff made us feel like we were the only guest. In this hotel the elevator is slow but guess what there is worst out there in life, perfect walk to the beach and walking distance to everything.

Convenient locationPosted Nov 22, 2015
Booking and finding the hotel was great. We were familiar with the area and GPS, REALLY helped. The room was comfortable and wonderful view of Diamond Head. It was close to a favorite coffee shop (the red cup one), great shops then the beach. The traffic and noise on the street was obvious even 6 stories up. Rate was reasonable. ......we were expecting luxury, just comfort. Staff was very helpful. Rainy weather, so took advantage of the free DVDNOW feature for the room. Parking of $25 was no surprise and we enjoyed the convenience.

Close to beach & shoppingPosted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: Easy distance from most things, good value for money
Cons: In house restaurant
Location: Shopping, beach, Mall
Lovely mid range hotel with helpful staff - biggest disadvantage is the only restaurant attached to the hotel is an ihop & a local coffee shop. There is a room service menu from a number of local restaurants though plus the Hilton Hawaiian Village across the road.

nice hotel well locatedPosted Nov 14, 2015
Pros: Location, free shuttel to nearby Ala Moana Center, large rooms, pool, view, not noisy
Cons: The AC wasn't really working which made it quite hard at the beginning. And the door keys didn't work so we always had to go down to ask
Location: Hilton Village is nearby, the beach, Ala Moana Center, different bus stops, a delicious breakfast restaurant
Since Oahu is expensive we chose this hotel which is well located, has a welcoming lobby and large rooms. The pool was nice as well

Located close to what you need in WaikikiPosted Nov 9, 2015
Pros: The room was spacious and decor was nice.
Location: Across the street from Hilton and down the street from Ala Moana mall.
The only issue we had is that the AC was only running at 50%, so the parking fee and resort fee was waived for the 2 nights we stayed. We did not find out about it until check-in though I don't think it would have been a deal breaker. We were provided with a fan that seemed to do the trick.

Older hotel, a/c broke down, not the best locationPosted Nov 7, 2015
I've stayed in Waikiki many times and I've stayed at many different facilities however I'm not so sure I'd go back to Aqua Palms. The A/C went out so there wasn't any A/C, and the bathroom had that mildew smell. But the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, aside from that mildew smelling bathroom and no a/c I'd give it an average rating. Parking is tight!!! Compact cars favor this style parking!

AC broke. Hot night of sleepPosted Nov 6, 2015
No AC for our stay. Fans blowing , windows open still can't cool off the heat. Lucky we only stay here for one night. They waived resort fee to compensate.
