My go-to hotel in Honolulu

Aston Waikiki is my go-to place when going to Honolulu. It is directly across from the beach and at the end of the strip, which I personally like better than being in the thick of the madness. The services are fast and the staff is always friendly.

毎朝ランニングをしたかったので、ホテルを出て海沿いにダイヤモンドヘッドを一周したらちょうど1時間ぐらいになって良いロケーションでした。

Nice hotel, super close to beach and zoo.

Pros: Right by the zoo and at the very end of the busy Waikiki strip.
Staff treated us well and granted our request for a room change (we wanted a king bed). Room was comfortable, location was great. Valet parking was expensive but very convenient. Plenty of places to shop and eat within walking distance. Right across from the beach and only a few minutes’ walk from the zoo. I thought it was great for the price.

Nice hotel very close to shops and the beach

The service desk was very helpful with olanning daily excursions and the Tiki bar in the lobby is awesome for late night drinks

The rooms need to be updated with air condition un

Pros: Hotel staff is friendly and nice. Good employees.
Cons: The rooms need to be remodeled to be more competiive for the price paid.
The Bathrooms are very old and outdated. Multi-colored floor tiles with a bathroom rug to hide them. Air conditioning units in each room are loud and not properly working. The rooms that you pay more for on the ocean view have a wind whistling noise that is created from the draft in the door. It is very loud and hard to sleep with the sound.

Nice after arrival complaint

Pros: The hotel was right on the beach and we loved that! We also liked that the staff was very nice.
Cons: The hotel could use some updates. It was ok, but you could tell that it was an older hotel and that it was just painted over the years.
Location: Location was great, restaurants were right downstairs along with novelty stores. Everything was easy to get to from there.
When we first arrived the bathroom had not been cleaned. Towels were dirty, floor was dirty, and the toilet was dirty. We showed the manager of cleaning staff the towels and he was pretty disgusted looking at the dirt spots on them as well. After that they sent someone up to clean and from that day on the room was great. The cleaners did an awesome job of keeping it spotless from that day on. The only other confusing thing was the elevators. They didn't give us instructions on how to use them, so we had to figure out with the help of other guests that there was a code you had to use along with the room key, then you could only go to the 3rd floor. Once on the third floor you had to get off and catch a different elevator down to the first floor. Just confusing.

But we implemented this system to provide speedier service for our valued patrons so you don’t have to wait for the cart to stop at many other floors before your floor. Also provides security from non-registered guest trying to access guest floors. We apologize for the inconveniences this caused you.
