Hotel is deteriorating fast

Posted Jul 18, 2016
Pros: ***see first "experience comments"
Location: Good location/bad hotel. (unless they lowered price and fixed things..see "experience comments")
Nice location but hotel room was less then I expected from last visit(2011). The bathroom had a broken shower curtain rod dangling and the sink condition looked deteriorated. Also, only 1 of 3 elevators was working which caused excessive waiting to get to our room(11th flr). The staff however was very accommodating for our needs. Additionally, they didn't seem interested in including a comforter on the beds(only white sheets). This seemed a little poor in taste and detracted from the ambiance of the room/atmosphere. I would not stay in this hotel again unless they offered me a free upgrade to a suite on my next visit. Then I would re-assess that room. (the cost of the room was too high for the poor quality).

Pros: キッチン道具はすべてそろっていた。
Cons:

Hotel was nice but only 1 of 3 elevators worked

Posted Jul 15, 2016
Hotel room was pleasant but with only one working elevator, we spent a lot of time waiting to get to the lobby. The restaurant inside was also closed for renevations. Had I known this I may have chosen to stay else where.

Nice and friendly staff

Posted Jul 14, 2016
I love staying here from many reasons. Hotel is nice. I wish the rooms had more light, they have lamps on the wall. I love how the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a perfect place for walking distance to places and it's right next door to a gas station. One thing I do not like is that they charge you $18 a day for using the wifi, towels, beach towels, etc even if you're not using them everyday.

Great hotel close to everything

Posted Jul 10, 2016
If you like to explore and walk around the places you visit. This hotel is for you. Very close to the beach with just a short walk through a beautiful park. If you want to eat, short walk to all sorts of good food. Small shops scattered close by to buy what you need.

Nice Hotel Next to Fort DeRussy Park

Posted Jul 2, 2016
Pros: Free DVD Now rentals (including PS3 games) Beach towels available The larger lanai on the first floor Being next to the Fort DeRussy Park
Cons: Slow elevators lacking good indicators as to whether they're going up or down when they reach a floor Restaurant was closed, so no on-site food
Location: Fort DeRussy Park with Army Museum Cheeseburger Waikiki Restaurant Lappert's Ice Cream in the Hilton Hawaiian Village complex
We chose this hotel to be close to Hale Koa Resort where my son's fiancee and her family were staying. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk through the Fort DeRussy Park away from the beach. The hotel restaurant was closed due to renovations while we were there. One of the elevators (out of 3) was being renovated as well, so elevator waits were sometimes long. (It's a 16-story building.) We were lucky to get a 1st floor room because the first floor has the ice machine, the laundry room, the pool entrance, and access to a BBQ patio, as well as having larger lanais (balconies) than the other floors. The staff were very nice, but the concierge is an Expedia Local representative and may try to convince you to go to a "free" breakfast at another hotel which is actually a time-share presentation. They also upsold me when I booked an island tour through them. The room has a daily resort fee, so take advantage of the free DVD Now rentals and the beach towels available.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced

Posted Jun 27, 2016
Pros: Friendly staff, nice amenities, close to dining, shopping, and the beach
Cons: Include breakfast
Location: 5-8 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and lots of shopping; everything from ABC stores to high-end shops like Prada & Louis Vuiton
Had a great stay of 3 days/nights. Within 5-8 minute walk to Waikiki Beach, and the hotel has beach towels for your use. We had "partial view" room; it overlooked a beautiful park with views of the ocean just past that. Staff was very friendly and helpful - would definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice Hotel

Posted Jun 26, 2016
The Luana Waikiki is a very nice hotel located within a few blocks of town. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well taken care of. If we ever have the opportunity to visit Hawaii again, we would definitely stay here again.
