Just a place to sleep..Posted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: price, convenient location, free DVDs, free internet and gaming
Cons: update TV system
Location: its at the beginning of Waikiki, everything is close by and accessible by vehicle, bus line or taxi.
Its a small room, just enough for 2 people and their luggage. Hotel still holds up but shows its age. Price made it a great value and the staff is friendly.

Did not go well.Posted Nov 20, 2015
Cons: Updates to rooms are needed. Hire staff who like working with tourist population and care.
Location: Beach, nice restaurants.
We were checked into a room where the air conditioner did not work. After we settled in our room and realized this, we had to change rooms. Now settled in the second room, the TV did not work. The repair man had to come to our room two times to fix it. We purchased an ocean view room. The windows were so dirty/scratched that we could not see out of the room well. The bathroom mirror was dirty. We paid 25.00 a day for parking and the front desk person said parking "is first come, first serve and that it could fill up". We were charged a mandatory, 10.00 daily "convenience fee" for things we did not use. The front desk person was rude when I had to come down to reregister due to a problem with the reservation. She said things like, "I feel your pain". "What do you want me to do about it?" She really did not care about customer service or even about being friendly.

Small and cozy room, no in room WiFi. The WiFi in the lobby is very crowded and slow. It's very close to the beach, which saves it from being just plain bad.

Great LocationPosted Nov 20, 2015
Pros: Location and views
Location: An easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach walk
Great location. Easy walk to shops and beach. Rooms are nice and clean. We were also able to borrow DVDs for free which was nice. Wifi only works in reception area, not ion the rooms.

Good locationPosted Nov 20, 2015
Good location is the main thing going for this hotel, wifi only in lobby is a pain, rooms need updating, im not picky so the room was ok enough, but youre aware of how small and dingy the place is sadly. But you get what you pay for, no frills, none.

Rude staff at front desk, air con did not work,Posted Nov 18, 2015
Had to have person fix tv 2x. Charged a daily mandatory "convenience " fee of $10. For things I don't want. Parking 25.00 a day. I have stayed here for years. This place is not being cared for. Note, also, staff folding sheets near laundry in parking garage. Sheets are more than half way touching dirty garage floor. Roll away beds in garage. Bad experience.

Nice hotel, close to beach, great view, great stafPosted Nov 18, 2015
The manager at our hotel Glady was outstanding. She answered all my questions, was professional and genuinely cared about clientele. She helped make my stay comfortable, assisted in making my wedding and honeymoon memorable and just amazing. Not a lot of people like her and I've been to some posh hotels in Hawaii.. I'm always staying at her hotel. Amazing view in room, clean, quiet, priced great & never happier. This is my fifth time in Hawaii and by far the best!!

CONVENIENT LOCATION AND STAFF VERY HELPFUL.Posted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: LOBBY AREA. OPEN AND SPACIOUS. REALLY GOOD RESTAURANT. PLEASANT AND REASONABLY PRICED.
Cons: THE MATTRESS PROTECTOR DID NOT FIT AND BUNCHED UP EVERY TIME YOU MOVED. LIFT WAS VERY SLOW.
Location: THE BUS OUTSIDE. EASY ACCESS TO SHOPPING AND RESTAURANTS.
DISAPPOINTED THAT POOL AREA WAS BEING RENOVATED AND IT WAS SO WINDY THAT WE COULD NOT SWIM ANYWAY. WE HAD KITCHENETTE ROOM WHICH GAVE US MORE SPACE AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS FROM 43RD FLOOR. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE HOTEL AS IT IS A LEAD IN PROPERTY FOR WAIKIKI AND WAS MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED.
