Amazing Resort, better than we had hoped for!Posted Nov 26, 2015
Pros: Location! Beach! Friendly Staff! Overall Experience!!
Cons: Better food in the restaurants, High prices were to be expected, but quality was just average.
Location: Resort has Amazing pools, beach, BBQ areas etc .. absolutely amazing surroundings in paradise.
Everything about the Marriott's Ko'Olina was amazing! The room was comfortable, spacious and private! The staff was helpful and friendly! The location is perfect, not far from the airport, but a world away from the bustling city atmosphere of Waikiki! The highlight of this resort for us would be the beaches, each resort on this stretch has it's own man made lagoon with what I would call a coral reef separating it from the rough waters and tides. You can walk freely from one beach to the next but need a key card to enter back onto resort property. Snorkeling in the lagoon was like swimming in a fish tank I EVEN GOT TO SWIM WITH A TURTLE! As would be expected, everything at the resort is expensive, so I recommend bringing your own snacks and booze! There is a Safeway within 15 min. of the resort! Also, if you are a smoker, you should probably keep in mind that Smoking is practically forbidden in these places, only allowed in a few spots in the parking lot and certainly not on the beach, I could see this being a problem for a dedicated nicotine addict.

Great Hotel for a family vacationPosted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Great pool and beach facilities. Close to Cosco.
Great Hotel for a family looking to retreat and relax on the beach. Avoid if you want to be close to the action of Waikiki.

Nice place, but a little on the steep side.Posted Oct 7, 2015
Pros: It was well away from the busy tourist traps on the island. Very helpful staff. Clean pools and beach access.
Cons: They need better options for room service. Clearer description of the 3 tower system and where your room will be.
Location: Quiet place, seemed good for pretty much anyone. Good stuff for couples and families. Beach access is right there.
We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club. We booked through Expedia thinking this was just a hotel (it looked like a hotel on the hotel's website too) but found out it was a timeshare. Not a big deal though. We stayed in the Hale Moana, which is the furthest tower from the beach, but a great view from our top floor penthouse. It was a little longer walk to the pools and beach, but not too bad. The room was very clean and a good size. The bed was a little hard, but not bad to sleep on. Pools were great, with some for kids if you have them, a quiet "Reflection Pool" where kids weren't allowed, but neither was much of anything besides floating, and a multi-tiered pool with waterfalls, tunnels, and a slide for all ages. And then the lagoon is right there past all the pools. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas were available, with more options to rent. The water features were awesome. 4 hot tubs, with only one of them really intended for kids. The restaurants were a little on the pricey side, but it is a resort in Hawaii. Nothing is cheap there. There isn't any true room service, just delivery available at a steep charge from the restaurants. They do carryout, so that's an option. The resort is in a good spot on the island, but be aware it's about a 45 minute drive from most of the typical Oahu site seeing places. It is a quiet spot. Staff was great, helpful with suggestions and tips.

We love Marriott's KoOlina Beach Club!Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: We loved our ocean view room!
Cons: Late check out would have been nice, we had just gotten married!
Even better room than the last time, with a wonderful ocean view. Lovely dinner at the steakhouse, unfortunately we missed the breakfast cut off at Longboard's. It would have been nice to have a late checkout but we made the most of our day. We got married the day before at Ka`ena Point so we just relaxed and enjoyed the pools. Always pleasant to come to Ko`Olina.

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club and it couldn't have been better. We had an amazing time with all the small activities they hold. Made lasting memories. Id recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to relax and enjoy great service, outstanding comfort, beautiful lagoons and great food and beverage.

Awesome Resort. One of the best I have stayed at.Posted Sep 17, 2015
Cons: The servers at the luau.
Location: There is a lot to do nearby and free shuttles to take you there if you feel like partaking. There is also a local shopping plaza for additional needs.
This was our last resort on our trip in Oahu and by far our favourite. From the moment at check in until the moment of departure it was nothing short of amazing. The staff are excellent and make you feel welcome. My daughter was sniffling and the front desk guy simply handed over a fresh unopened box of kleenex. The grounds are clean and well manicured. Although there are trees everywhere the pool has minimal debris in it ever. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. I also liked how there were little local vendors that would set up for a little browsing or shopping. Finally, the Luau was a once in a lifetime experience. I have always wanted to do do one and I feel that I could not have picked a better luau to go to despite many being advertised all over the island. The food and entertainment was incredible. We were actually going to initially stay at the resort next door for my child......so glad I chose the Marriott instead. Overall better feel than the "other" hotel. :)

ワイキキの喧騒とは無縁Posted Sep 6, 2015
ワイキキの喧騒とは無縁のホテル。 シャトルバスなどは無いので自分で手配する必要があるのはネック。 ワイキキに飽きた人にオススメ。

the gym was great. pools average. the beach was amazing, landscaping is nice. food was average, but bbqs were great ( preferred bbqing own meals). dvds available and walking distance to all lagoons. bad things ? poor access to transoprtation, not very many activities through out the day or night, noise level was fairly high. it was hard to fall asleep some nights, or your neighbours would wake you on other nights. parking fee 36$ a night was ridiculous.

Insensitive staffPosted Aug 30, 2015
They did not help us with directions. Pool was very dirty. Marketplace shop people were rude.
