Great hotel with great staff

Great hotel for a weekend getaway. The staff was very great and very understanding to my needs.

Not what it seems

No vending machine the floor was filthy going down the long hallway an what looks like some one tried to break in every other door in the hotel. It was packed full of people and kids ran up an down the hallway All night. The phones in the room can't call out or receive calls and was not to happy about my stay.

Nice...very close to home!!!!

Only problem...heat im the room didnt circulate well...had it up on the highest it'll go and was still a little chilly. Other than that it was fine

The heat don't work dirty hand towels the toilet bowl was broke my worst experience in been in a hotel I will not recommend that hotel!

Overall good stay, poor shower, once did not have hot water, only cold. Breakfast was good.

Close to downtown

Pros: Decent location.
Cons: Sheets need to be cleaned better and staff need to be consistent with breakfast and checkout times.
Clean room, but sheets were stained. Staff told us breakfast was served until 9:30, but at 9:05 the told us that no, on Thursdays breakfast closed at 9. Another guest came for breakfast a few minutes later and said she'd also been told 9:30, but staff said Thursdays were different. Staff told us checkout time was 11 but we heard the housekeeping staff telling someone that checkout was 10:30 on Thursdays when we were getting our luggage back out to the car. Checkout is clearly listed on the website as 11, so that was pretty troubling. Noise carries easily through the doors. Also, the floors are all tile, which might be great for dry weather but resulted in icky, dirty, wet spots from our snow-covered boots after we brought our luggage in from the car. A rug or other mat at the entry way would be helpful. Instead, we were using tissues to dry the floor so we could get from the bed to the bathroom without wet socks. Our room was also crazy hot even though the thermostat was set low (65). Our dog was panting and the kids were sleeping without any covers and still hot. We ended up opening the window to cool it off to a reasonable temperature (which is saying something considering that it was 2 degrees outside that night).

Hotel way past its prime

Hotel is very outdated. We had ants in our room. Heating unit was so loud and kicked on every 20 minutes so woke us up often. Staff amazingly nice. But other than that really awful hotel.
