1st Time - Tennessee to Arizona

Posted Dec 10, 2017
Pros: Location, clean, quiet. While the room was not elaborate it was detailed clean.
Location: Scenic stops to view the many Red Rock formations. Many hiking trails. Many off-road adventure opportunities. The Church of the Holy Cross.
Desert Quail is located a few miles south of the downtown area and airport. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Easy access to many of the Red Rock scenic formations. Walk to Redrock Cafe for breakfast. Awesome views in all directions. We got lucky for December, wonderful warm clear weather. Two nights with a trip to the Grand Canyon. Dinner at Elote Cafe and the Cowboy club. The Cowboy Club was good, good environment, and what we wanted. Elote Cafe was a little to refined for my country boy expectations. Visited many of the shops near the two restaurants. Grand Canyon - Inspirational. Made the trip back from Grand Canyon via 64 East and Hwy 89 south for a completely different visual experience. Arizona is a diverse wonderful state with awesome opportunities and experiences for all who visit.

Good spot in Village of Oak Creek

Posted Dec 8, 2017
Nicely located in Oak Creek near the city limits of Sedona. Walking distance to grocery and several good restaurants including PJ's (road-house), Maria's (mexican) and Red Rock Cafe (breakfast/lunch). Pool was warm in December. Our TV reception (Direct TV?) was poor and annoying. Not sure if other people had that experience. Not many visitors but somehow we got a room below someone else. Room was big and comfy with lots of space to spread out. Microwave and good-sized fridge. Parking right outside the room. You need a car or taxi to get into downtown Sedona. I'd stay again.

Pleasant stay at Desert Quail Inn

Posted Nov 8, 2017
We were quickly checked in after a day of hiking in the area. The front desk clerk was friendly and funny. The room (109) was very large with a king bed and sofa bed. I believe the hotel was recently renovated so the furniture is quite new except for the sofa - not very comfortable to sit on. The bed is quite high so if you’re short, you need to hop up. The hotel is well located for groceries & restaurants. The area is beautiful and we would return.

Nice room & great location.

Hotel was clean & comfortable. It is just a basic room, but the furnishings all seemed to be fairly new and were in good condition. Bed was very comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Fantastic views on the door step, not far from Sedona , Jerome, Prescott, Flagstaff a little further away.
Located close to the Red Rocks this hotel offered great Accommadation just outside Sedona in the new development of Oak Creek. The receptionist was friendly and helpful recommending a range of places to have dinner and diner for breakfast. The bed was comfortable, room clean and equipped with everything you need.
