"The hotel was nothing like the pictures on the website. Very rundown, when I walked into the room I was hit with a musty smell, the locks on the doors were not reassuring and I did not feel safe."

"Room was okay. Door to patio stuck slightly open. Bathroom did not have any place to hang towels, except one short rod for a hand towel. Check-in was fast and easy. Gentleman who helped us was efficient and friends. During our two night stay, DeeDee worked the front desk over the weekend. She greeted guests as they entered, asking about their breakfast or their day. Truly a GREAT representative of the hotel. We easily walked to Royals games just across the street. Great location."

"The staff was wonderful, very knowledgeable and helpful. The spa was fantastic, and spending time in the grotto before the massage was so relaxing. I had the best massage I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back!"

"The air worked but was noisy. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The pool is disgusting. Very cloudy and unable to see the bottom. The top step on one of the ladders was broken. There was a constant drip coming from the ceiling in the hallway. Most of the exercise equipment would not turn on. There were water stains everywhere, some covered by spray paint. Very poor repair work. The pool, the bar, breakfast area and check in counter are all in the same room which made everything muggy with an odor. The pictures online look nothing like what we experienced. I will never stay there again. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. "

"Breakfast didn’t start until 7; it started too late for me. Parking is good. Staff are great. Room was clean but does need some repairs - shower door would barely open/close & there’s a loose tile that is sunk down & moves a mid “in the middle of the bathroom doorway. Didn’t have time to use the pool. There is a fantastic restaurant right next door, Summit Grill, which I highly recommend. "
