Front desk

The front desk staff both at night and morning were extremely helpful. I wish I remembered her name on night sift but I know these reviews make it to someone and I just hope it can make it back to the hotel. Also i have stayed in many a hotel and have to say the best continental breakfast yet

It took us two hours and three rooms before we finally were checked into our room. The first room had half the hanging clothes rack pulled out from the wall. Rather than give us another room, we sat and watched for an hour as the maintenance man struggled, unsuccessfully, to reattach. The second room smelled STRONGLY of cigarette smoke. Finally, we settled on the third room. Even that room had two fist size holes in the sheer curtains on the window, and the fridge had such a buildup of ice that we had to chip it out before we could put in our leftovers and drinks. We were never able to use their wifi, despite repeated attempts. I overheard two other people complaining at the front desk about this. We have stayed at this hotel on previous visits to Oak Ridge, but it seems like they are either skimping on maintenance or management is not up to the challenge of running this facility.

Worst service ever

Very rude front desk staff and when I told her the service wasn't good she said great she could careless. I was over charged and couldn't get the lady at the desk to look at the charges she was very rude. I asked for the number to manager and she told me to find it myself

The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday, the rooms were very clean we will definitely stay there again!

Worked well for vising ORNL

Pros: The free breakfast was relatively good, and I liked the location which is ideal for visiting ORNL. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: I found the pillows a little uncomfortable.
Location: I enjoyed going to AMSE (museum detailing the "secret city" and the role of Oak Ridge in the manhattan project).
I enjoyed staying at this hotel, would stay there again.
