I will not be staying at this hotel again. It was absolutely not what you would expect from DoubleTree--perhaps from a Best Western or Comfort Inn, but never DoubleTree. The mattress was lumpy and there was a well where most people slept. The air conditioner was noisy. Most annoying of all, there wasn't a single lightbulb of decent wattage in either the room or the corridors. I realize that electricity isn't free, but this was a DOUBLETREE, not an El Cheap-O Inn. Basically, I spent the entire time fumbling around in the near dark. At one point, I would have sold my soul for a 60 watt bulb! There was no microwave oven in the room. Yes, that's right--No Microwave! In this day and age, that isn't inconvenient, it's downright weird. The only bright spot was room service. The food was pricey, but that's to be expected. What wasn't expected was that both the hot sandwich and the soup were very good. Not only was the food delivered quicker than expected, about an hour later, Food Service called to ask if everything was ok. Now *that's* more like what you'd expect from DoubleTree. Oh yes, there was no offer of a free cookie on check-in. All in all, a very unenjoyable experience. I will be returning to Oak Ridge in the future, but not to this hotel.

Couldn't locate hotels.com reservation

After arriving, they could not locate the hotels.com reservation I made even though I called hotel earlier to confirm reservation. Once located they could not accommodate my requested two beds because they only had a king left. Very little Feat that night with a child rolling around between my wife and I
