Enjoyable stay

With the exception of the breakfast area, which was pretty messy by the time I came down at 8am, the motel was exceptionally neat and clean. Spacious room, friendly staff and plenty of food choices within walking distance

Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra.

We arrived Friday night, there was Hayward police in the lobby interviewing a girl and getting ready to search rooms. Minded our own business and checked in anyway. The staff was ok, but not super friendly and two of them were just hanging out talking and looking at their phones. We get up to the room and I go to make a call and the phone cable falls right off the phone. Then we hear screaming a few doors down, a girl saying "HELP!! SOMEBODY F***ING HELP!!" So I let the front desk know and the lady comes and checks and says "well, I don't hear anything anymore except their tv is too loud..." seriously?? And their tv stayed loud all night, so she didn't even say anything to them. Finally decide to just start getting ready for bed. I take care of a "nature call" and well, what do you know? The toilet doesn't work? I would never stay here again. The room was filthy. Food splatter on the walls. One of the drawers had an old bag of fast food from a previous guest, looks like they don't thoroughly clean their rooms. And the corner of the mirror was broken, but don't worry, a little bit of scotch tape will cover it right up. Talk about a safety hazard. Overall, I wish I would've spent a little more and done La Quinta instead. Stay away from the America's Best Value Inn in Hayward... it is definitely NOT that.

Stay was ok, close to San Francisco and I didn't have my credit and was able to stay anyways which was nice

Smelly hallways & dirty tub

When I walked in to tje hotel it was an overwhelming smell of poop. It was hard just to check in with the smell. When I got to the room to take a shower the tub with disgusting.

Upon arrival front desk was vacant. Waited 25 minutes for staff to appear. Felt unsafe and unsecured.

Bad place

This place is garbage. We were put in a NON-smoking room, but the room smells like an old casino with bad ventilation. I will never stay here even if it's free

It was ghetto, out door was already open and no housekeeping came by to give us more towels or change our beds
