It looks like there has been new staff added to this hotel I been staying at this location over 2 years and I just had the worst stay and my credit card was charged for extra charges I still don't know about nor did they let me know during my stay, I prepaid all my stays in advance for accounting reasons since my job pays for them but this last stay was a let down in addition to their outdated amenities always being out of service,

I was told that I would be charged "destination fee of almost $30 per day. This is not reflected in the Expedia rate and was a total surprise. I believe this chain (Sonesta) is being sued by patrons and congressional legislation on this issue has been proposed

Have stayed at this property many times over the past 15-20 years as I visit family in the area. It is aging and housekeeping was especially poor this time. But the location is good.

I did not like that i was charged another 50 $ when i got to the hotel.that should have been said when i booked the room. There was no handy cap parking. This morning had to go out for food they were so slow in the kitchen.

I have stayed here before and it is great. However, the room I stayed in was not prepped.There was no soap and the usual toiletries. Also, the sheets and pillows smelled of men's cologne. Clearly, not washed. I did not sleep that night. I was so grossed out.

Check-in was a breeze and I had no issues getting the room I reserved (bay view, higher floor). The hotel is located across Bay Street so we had tons of dining and shopping options which were walking distance. At first I was bummed that breakfast wasn’t included in the rate but we never got up in time to have breakfast so it worked out for us. Will book here again.

From the moment that I arrived and ask for early check in and was told it’s $50 extra! The person at the counter never told me anything about breakfast or housecleaning. By the way this hotel still thinks it’s okay to use COVID as an excuse to not clean regularly. I sat for 4 days in a dirty room because nobody told me I needed to order it. Also breakfast is not free, it costs an arm and leg. I paid $10 for a cup of fruit and a cup of tea. I’ll never stay here again.

Wonderful stay!
The hotel is very clean, eco friendly and comfortable. I had a nice and quiet room and a very restful stay. I liked that I could open the window and air the room. The location is wonderful - beautiful water views, 2 min walk from a large shopping area with a lot of shops and a Trader's Joe. The free wifi was slow though, and there was no option to upgrade. The front desk staff was very friendly and made me feel at home. I especially want to thank Michael Williams, Assistant General Manager, for making special room accommodation for me and also Vanessa at the front desk. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!
