Very convenient

Had a great experience with our Check in. The lady at the front desk was very courteous and compassionate to our flight being delayed. She gave us an extra hour to check out, put us in a more quiet part of the hotel so we could sleep in, told us about the shuttle service and other amenities. She is a great asset to the organization. The room was clean and modern.

Decent Hotel (Hotel sheets)

Don't expect the red carpet to be rolled out, but expect a great staff. Everyone there was really nice and fast when you had a request. Not in the best area but again you are in Oakland. Nothing is great there. The hotel takes every step for security. They have an outside security guard that just sits there..? They should at least walk around and view any break ins. Room was clean, needs a deep clean tho. Carpet needs to be steam cleaned. House keeping is super face... I requested a change of sheets, but I don't think they changed them. I think they just made my bed.

only if your into tailgate parties and smoking pot

Pros: Great bed.
Cons: need new security personal and train them to Kick out the pot smokers and partier goes.
Location: Close to airport. and will keep your car while out of town
The lobby staff great. Security staff needs fired. called security total 4 times in one night. Smoking pot and drunks in the hall all night. drug deals going on. Parties goers where there for the Raiders game. Security came and stood around with hands in pocket .Not going back there. Will pay more to get a good night sleep.

Hotel is not too bad but...

My hotel stay here was alright. The rooms are actually pretty nice and well kept, but the hallways constantly reeked of pot so if you have issues with that I wouldn't recommend staying.

Close to the airport

We had a 1 night layover in Oakland and chose this hotel due to location, 24hr shuttle, and relative cost. It is within 2 miles of the airport and the shuttle does run 2x an hour, 24hr a day. Staff was not rude, but not friendly nor attentive either. Beds were hard, pillows were tiny but soft, and shower pressure was lackluster. Our biggest issue was noise, of which there was much, even on a random Tuesday night. Our room had also done away with the more traditional hotel locks/deadbolt and instead had a metal secondary stop installed. It would not have stopped anyone determined to muscle past it, so I'd recommend against opening that door a crack. (I'd recommend not opening it period if you aren't expecting anyone or aren't comfortable with who you see through the peephole, of course.) No fault of the hotel, but we also had a man who was apparently confused about his room number and really determined to get into ours (spent about 10min really trying to get in) before we were able to convince him he had the wrong room and police would be arriving if he did not leave immediately. Never did see any security at the hotel - key cards are required to open the door into the building, but we saw people leave the door open a couple of times during our brief stay, so it is far from foolproof. All that said, the room itself? Immaculate! Kudos to the housekeeping crew!

Very Good !!

Pros: The room was neat and comfortable. Front desk staff were very kind and friendly.
Cons: The main elevator at times was slow or not moving at all.
Location: Very convenient location super close to the Oakland Airport and to the Bay Bridge, in addition to several malls.
Great stay for a short visit. Definitely would return.

Great room for a very reasonable price. The location was perfect. Free parking and wifi are great amenities to have as well. Staff was friendly and helpful!

The Pros and Cons

Pros: local to airport
Cons: the FOOD
I base this review on the FOOD offered for breakfast...the hotel itself is ok...it is close to the airport and has decent rooms. What is extremely disappointing is the "breakfast" offered at a fairly high rate per night location. In comparison at hotels thru-out Norway, where I had just spent 15 days, here's what I encountered NORWAY mounds of smoked fish, fresh deli meats, fresh cheeses a muesli bar where there were 10-15 items from rolled oats, dates, raisins , seeds, nuts, dried fruits FRESH baked breads fresh cut tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, beets, pickles yougurts an assortment of fresh jams and jellies hard-boiled and overeasy eggs fresh sauteed potatoes, beans and local sausages DAYS INN generic processed white and wheat bread Quaker Oatmeal Corn Flakes and one other sugar based cereal pancakes thats it.....wow...how disappointing to wake up to that...WYNDHAM !!! you cant do better than this!! Whats worse for me is that Im a Wyndham Vacations Owner!!
