Bad Choice on My Part

Posted Aug 19, 2015
Booked this one last minute for a business trip and ws unfamiliar with the area. I'm not snooty but it wasn't in a great neighborhood. The big issue I had was parking our box truck anywhere near the property. No room in the lot and the neighboring streets were jam packed with cars. I ended up parking in a Costco lot about a mile away and riding a bike to get there. The manager was nice and tried to suggest places to park but they didn't pan out. Breakfast was OK. Sofa bed was painful. Overall the hotel wasn't bad but the whole parking issue really soured me on the whole deal. If you're driving a regular car or pickup no problem.

Disappointed but few regrets.

Pros: The plush king bed had several fluffed pillows to prop up with. For a single room, it also had a hide-a-bed. The bath and sink area were clean.
Cons: Knowing room improvements are not cheap, better planning should go into them so they do not appear to be.
Location: If you want activities you'll need a car. Little to do close-by. Otherwise a quick taxi ride to a BART station will get you to many great activities.
First appearances were not up to expectations, based on the room rate. Even at a discount, the room was over-charged for the condition & location. I frequented this neighborhood years ago and was glad to see it had improved slightly. Room 'upgrades' and layout however seem unplanned and installed by low skilled labor. It was clean looking though. The main light to the room worked occasionally. At least the near-by highway wasn't so apparant when I closed the window, which I wanted open for the cooler air that the air conditioner seemed to have trouble making. On the first morning I was very reluctant to make coffee, finding water still in the maker from the last occupant (when ever that was). The complimentary breakfast was a continental one with few choices. It did have a refrigerator and microwave to store and prepare things I might pick up at a near-by convenience store, though.

Needs to be updated

Posted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was good.
Cons: Office needs to be updated. Hallways were very dirty.
Location: Didn't feel safe in the neighborhood.
Bad neighborhood, facility needs to be updated, room smelled stale, room was clean but there were holes in the blanket and sheet. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

Convenient if you need a hotel in Hayward

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: The proximity to Hayward and the highways.
Cons: The breakfast options.
Location: Near Hayward airport and highway 880.
Nothing really special about the place, except that it's really close to the Hayward airport and highways. There aren't a lot of other amenities or things to do nearby, so you would only opt for this hotel if you needed to be in Hayward for a night or two.

Not too bad in Harward

Went for price. Manager was a bit grumpy but I didn't expect too much out of him. He did hook me up with another coffee pack!
