Very comfortable

The room was small but the accessible shower was great The bed was very comfortable I used walking sticks and a very nice gentleman opened the door for me He was an employee Checkout was easy Also i liked the new key system

Cheaper hotel than stay downtown san fran

Lookoing for a more reasonably priced hotel near downtown san fran. The roads into the hotel are not the best but a nice place once you are there

The Best Experience

Very comfortable. Staff was very helpful finding things to do close or around the facility. Also ordered room service which was the best. Every time I come to the Bay Area I'll stay here. Hanna Japan is right across the street for fine dining and the marina provides a spectacular view

Great views

Very nice hotel in Berkeley. Close to good food & easy access to San Francisco. I really wish they would serve breakfast to all guests and not just to Honors

Called weeks in advance to request a microwave and adjoining rooms. Was told to call back the day of that they couldn't put requests in that early. Got to hotel to check in and they said that we should've requested both earlier in order to get adjoining rooms and microwave, and wouldn't be able to accommodate us. Very disappointing and annoying.

Not fancy, but it's perfect.

My family and I stayed here for the first time and we love it. It's great for families with young kids. The location is the best thing about this place. Great view and refreshing to walk around or sit on a bench right on the Marina. The room is cozy and comfortable. It's an older hotel but it's been updated. The staff is awesome and friendly. We would definitely stay here again for future trips.

Nice hotel.

Pros: Size of room and beds.
Cons: Loud blower and difficult to control heat
Location: Condition of road to get to hotel was poor.
Blower in room was very loud. Difficult to control heat I. Room. Nice pool, but water chilly. Hot tub was broken. Condition of road to hotel was ridiculous. They never left two clean glasses in the room. Size of room was comfortable.

Nice hotel but still have work to do

Visited family over Christmas 2016 and found hotel to be good but not great. Huge bug in bathroom Called to have them spray bug killer but could not smell any so spayed myself and got the bug. No other inspect issues. Hotel was clean with nice view of Marina. Stayed 4 nights and had brunch in cafe that was only average for $20 ea. Service almost non existent. Parking lot is self park with a gate for $ 18 a day. Should not have a customer staying there to park but they do. Could be excellent hotel but only average due to above issues. Think we stay else where on next trip for $200 plus $18 to park probably not worth the price . Would gladly paid that. Except for bug in bathroom pay to park and average buffet with bad service in cafe. Just our thoughts maybe you like it better. Hopefully just under staffed at Christmas and had a bad few days durning our stay. $218 too much for average in my opinion
