Good Hotel Overall

Pros: Everything but its size. Lots of walking to get to restaurant, room, lobby, etc
Cons: Our entire experience was wonderful
Location: Downtown Berkley close by
Friendly, helpful staff. Everything clean and organized. Nice bar area overlooking the docks.

Dishonest hotel, don't go there.

I stayed there for 2 nights, and for the first night, they placed me in a old room next to the elevator with no sound proof. I complained the next day morning and they switched me to a new room for the 2nd night. They promised that they will refund me for the first night, but they never did. I called several times and spoke to them and the accounting department said she will refund me, but still never did. While we were changing to the new room, the staff that helped us couldn't believe they still place people in that room. That room has absolutely no sound proof next to the elevator. I will never go back to this hotel again. Dishonest business should close down. If you do go there, do not stay at room 4117.

Nice hotel on the marina

Pros: The view, and the hhonors benefits.
Cons: N/a
Location: Berkeley marina is a good place to hangout or for walks, and feels very soothing.
Lovely atmosphere, sea facing rooms, conveniently located made it a super experience.

Comfortable. King size bed was a small Cal King.

Pros: Clean. Comp. WiFi was good enough for basic use (text email, etc)
Cons: Only one set of bathrobe and bath towel in the room.
Nothing was spectacular but we had a comfortable stay. The "king" size bed was smaller than ordinary king. Probably this is called "Cal King"

Horrible!

Pros: Hard to know, when one is so sleep-deprived.
Asked for quiet room--got one right next to the elevator--the noisy, noisy elevator with people carousing on and off it, too. I paid over 500$ for this? Horrible!

Hotel is nice but it felt greedy

Pros: Location was close to San Francisco
Cons: Remove the parking fee. Increase the internet speed to something that can serve the entire hotel; up to 1-2 Mbps is absurd.
The bed was nice, the room was quiet enough, and the bathroom was good but l felt nickel and dimed. It's a big, nice hotel but the wifi was super slow (1-2 Mbps when it worked) and my cellphone barely had service so I had to rely on the wifi. It kicks your phone off the wifi after a certain amount of inactive time too which seemed too short. There's nothing around this place but a marina and some parks yet they still charged $17.50 for parking (was recently free) yet they have signs in the parking lot that say they're not responsible for theft. There's plenty of free parking across the street but they didn't recommend it because it was not on the property (I spent the $17 for parking). Because I didn't book through the hotel they wouldn't let me earn points. The hotel was nice but the parking really got to me, and I live in California where it's normal to charge. No free breakfast of any kind. It just felt like a place that maximizes profits as much as they can through cuts that really take away from the consumer (wifi, parking, breakfast, points). If you checkout on the TV, it tells you to leave the keys in the room but don't because you need one to exit the parking lot; us and the car in front of us had to call the front desk to come let us out of the parking lot. I'll never stay here again and I'll probably question staying at this chain for a long time. It felt greedy.

Close to the water. Great trails

Great hotel for affordable prices. Target is 5 mins away. Trails are awesome. Can view both bridges from the pier.

This is my go-to hotel. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, they allow dogs, and of course the double tree cookies.

Near the water

The hotel service was great! They even greeted us with warm cookies. Rooms were nice and spacious, the balcony is also a plus!! The only negative is the pool!!!! They are a very huge hotel and have more than one pool but the adult pool was under construction which really sucked. The one pool that was open was packed with people and it was uncomfortable so unfortunatly we didn't get to swim. But other than that it was a beautiful hotel.
