Never Again!!!

Pros: My escape
Graffiti scratched into one elevator wall and panty liner stuck to the other were sure signs this was not going to be a nice stay. The walls are paper thin and my neighbors were kind enough to party late into the night and set their alarm clock to wake me at 4AM. Not a single plate, cup, fork, spoon or knife in the kitchen; I was surprised the towels were not changed to the rods. No coffee in the room. On checkout, I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes before having to call the 800 number for assistance. It turns out the clerk was on break, and was completely apathetic to about her job or guest satisfaction. I nearly missed my flight as a result.

In response to your feedback, I am coaching our team to ensure that guest are acknowledging that the hotel does not allow any parties and the graffiti on the elevator walls are getting removed and the 3rd party vendor are already contacted to get those removed from the wall. Great location & good value

Pros: Staff, location, cleanliness.
Cons: Only comment is bed was a little hard and different types of pillows were needed - harder, softer, thicker, thinner.
Location: Next to Bay Bridge, in very nice Emeryville area, lots of great shopping nearby, near Oakland and Berkeley.
Staff is super friendly & helpful. Large room was clean. Great location near shopping, expressways and Oakland & Berkeley areas & next to Bay Bridge.

Hotel was not good. only stayed one night, paid 2

Not good. Poor location. Not safe to walk. We had bikes and put them in room. Employee suggested this for safety. Hotel hallway had smell. Someone was cooking something that smelled bad!!! We think. Will never stay in this hotel ever again. Paid for two night , only stayed one. Parking lot was well lite!!!!

Great Property

Spent 5 days, 4 nights at this hotel. There is no other hotel that offers so much at any price. 1. Great room with full kitchen. 2. Great A/C 3. This property allows smoking. They have a separate floor for smokers. 4. You can bring any size dog to this hotel for a small fee. 5. Great coffee and breakfast pastry, fruit, and oatmeal in the morning. 6. This hotel is part of a major outdoor shopping center. 7. Easy access to freeways and Bay Bridge to San Francisco. 8. Easy 10 - 15 minute drive to Oakland Airport. Thank you Extended Stay America for a nice vacation

Smokey, run down and dilapidated.

Reserved a non smoking room, all they had was smoking. Room was disgusting to say the least, furniture was looking more than worn. Carpet was not clean, at all. Shower valve progressively turned itself hotter during shower. Notified manager and he seemed to already know about this problem, and told me he would get right to it. I highly doubt it's been taken care of. Very dangerous as you could easily burn yourself. They did not offer a reduced rate for the wrong room either. I'll never consider extended stay again, but I suspect this one is worse than most.

Pleasant stay

Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: Coffee holders to carry the coffee back to the rooms.
Location: There was a Target and Starbucks nearby. There was also a Pet Club and some car store nearby too.
I came to Berkeley/Oakland for my sister's graduation. The hotel was not too far from UC Berkeley and my sister's off-campus apartment. It was also next to a Target which made buying last minute things easy. The hotel room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was as expected. The reviews I read did make me expect worst-case scenarios but there was nothing like that in my room or with the service. Overall, my hotel stay was descent and pleasant enough.

Emeryville Extended Stay

Pros: Access to shopping , somewhat quiet . Internet service is great ! Front Desk has great service ...
Cons: Room cleanness, appears to bedbugs, monitor local drifter hanging out , appearing doing the .a.m to get coffee or snacks .
Location: Great
It's been good, no problems . Not a Four Star locationYet !
