The diner did not have the menu item I wanted the three days I was there, otherwise food was OK. There was some loud door slamming in the hallway as the room doors were sprung to close automatically.

Could not have asked for more

Posted Oct 4, 2016
For check in to check out, we could never t have asked for more. The hotel was centrally located adjacent to restaurants, Trader Joe's, Starbucks, the freeway, and the staff was incredibly accommodating.

Okay hotel close to the highway and to the shops

Posted Sep 16, 2016
Pros: The hotel is close to the highway and to a shopping plaza. There is free tea and coffee in the morning. The staff is very attentive and very nice.
Cons: 1. Please repaint the walls to another color other than bone white. 2. Change your CFL bulbs to daylight. 3. Clean the ice machine.
Location: There is a shopping plaza so you can handle your day to day needs. There is a Trader Joe's as well as a Starbucks. There are plenty of diners near.
The exterior of the of Four Points by Sheraton San Francisco Bay Bridge looks great. Parking is plentiful. The hotel is very close to the highway and it is across the street from a number of diners as well as a shopping plaza. The lobby looks nice and the staff is very attentive. That is where it ends unfortunately for me. We booked for a two double bed room and the staff were very helpful with the check-in process. The room is adequately clean. However, the fixtures and lighting of the room is deplorable. The hotel lobby and the rest of the hotel looks like it was designed by two separate teams. Once you exit the elevators on to your floor, you feel as if you were transported to the 1970's with bone white colored walls. They use cool light CFL bulbs in the room which makes the room unnecessarily dreary amber and dull. Unless you get direct light into your room, the room will look as if you are stuck in a dark and depressing place with brown carpet. Come on, bone white walls and brown carpet? My room is situated on the third floor which has a vending machine as well as an ice machine. I would not go near the ice machine as it looks dingy and has not been cleaned for a very long time. You can actually see black specks which can be mildew. I cannot believe that after paying over $200 a night for a room, i ended up checking into something that makes a half star motel look regal. The only saving grace of this hotel is the staff which is wonderful. Thank you

I was very happy with everything including the room service during my recent stay. Loved how close the hotel was to nearby shopping and the free city shuttle bus!

Convenient location

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: Staff, location, price
Good location, close to major highways, 5 minutes from SF Bay Bridge, and easy access to Oakland Airport. Next door to additional restaurants and shopping. Hotel was undergoing some exterior updating but didn't really cause any guest inconvenience. Staff was great, room very clean. Tiny bathroom, a little dated but otherwise very comfortable.

Pros: Extremely nice staff
Cons: Lower the price
Expected higher end comforts for the price. No usb ports and few electrical outlets.

Very nice hotel right across the railway tracks.

Posted Aug 29, 2016
Pros: The staff was very helpful by giving us a map and directions to San Francisco. We picked up the bus right outside the hotel.
Cons: The only thing wrong was the toilet chain for the flusher was broke.
Location: The bus stop right in front of the hotel to San Francisco was perfect.
The hotel was only one block from the train station. All you had to do was to cross the walking bridge over the tracks and the hotel was in plain view close by. The inside was very clean and well presented and the staff was very helpful by describing the bus routes to San Francisco.

Nice location to stay but was not able to update my star points as I had booked thru Expedia. (Was told to me at the reception). Good places for eating near but. And good places to shop also.
