a hotel to AVOID

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Everything needs improving.
Location: There is nothing really within walking distance, it is in a dangerous neighborhood.
The hotel was bad, the worst we have stayed in. The room was not as nice as those pictured online. The carpet had numerous stains, one looked very much like blood. There was no smoke alarm fitted and there was no carbon monoxide detector. No in room wifi. The bathroom was poorly maintained, paint was peeling and there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower. Two very thin pillows for four people. The room smelled so heavily of cigarette smoke that it was very hard to sleep, we could not wait to get out of there in the morning. Based on other hotels and motels we have stayed at I would say it represented very poor value for money. The hotel is in a rough area, at night there were police cars cruising the parking lot and shining lights into cars. I would not bring my family there again, it did not feel safe.

Great place

Instead of living in San Fransisco and pay $200 in a bad condition hotel, my brothers and I rathered living in this motel and drive 30 mins to San Fransisco downtown. it is cheaper and great place to stay at.

spacious room

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: spacious room, nice beds
Cons: provision of enough linens, toiletries, other amenities
It was a good sized room but it smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The beds looked clean & were comfortable. There was not enough towels & toiletries, no hair dryer. We had to ask for an iron from the housekeeper who was close by so we can press our clothes. No wifi codes provided though it was suppose to be included. At around 4:30 AM, there was a loud woman screaming with profanities outside the next room then slamming of doors. I was so distressed I almost called 911. I was hoping to get rested for a night that's why I booked a hotel instead of staying at a relative's place but I was disappointed. I did not get my money's worth.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Very poor quality property with dirty walls and carets and mold growing in the shower and atound the toilet. When I checked in they required a substantial "security deposit" in cash, no credit card accepted. When I left early in the morning it took almost 15 minutes to waken the manager who was sleeping behind the desk, check out, and get my damage deposit back.
