Nice hotel, close to airport

We have stayed here before. We appreciate how clean it is and the staff is great. Only one concern this time. The parking lot was full when we checked in late. Too many work trucks taking up to 5 spaces each. Perhaps they should have parked in another lot or on the streets.

Cons: lots
Location: Horrible
The room is very tight to move around in. Their was dried blood on the comforter. The neighborhood is very unsafe. The suttle driver was late for a Four am pick up and made every one stressed that would be late for their plane. The driver argued with us when we did not tip him. It was very stressful.

Close to O.Co and Oracle arena

We stayed for one night. It was a quiet stay and the hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. Check in and check out were both very smooth. The parking is inside a fenced area and seemed secure. The breakfast was more than adequate. Breakfast area was busy and needs more sitting space, but it was sufficient. Overall, I think it was worth the price for a short stay in the Oakland airport area (only a couple miles away).

Layover Nightmare

My wife and I had a layover in Oakland on our way home from Hawaii. I figured it was only one night, and we could save a few dollars. Unfortunately I was wrong and after this stay, I will never stay at a La Quinta again. This is the second time I booked with them through Expedia and the second time they couldn't find my reservation. After finally getting our room keys we just wanted to get a bite to eat and sleep, however the room next to us decided they needed to pound on the walls for an hour or so first and since the walls are paper thin you can imagine how that was for us. No food in the hotel, no food really within walking distance either (nor would I recommend you really walk around this area). In the morning we could have saved setting our alarms as we were treated to a screaming match between two lovers in our hallway for about 15 minutes with no staff coming to stop it or any apology from the hotel. All in all just a really awful stay and while the room itself was clean I would never stay here or at any other LaQuinta again. Book at your own risk.

1 night stay

Don't expect much- it was barely acceptable in terms of cleanliness. Room smelt and saw some weird stains. Arrived very late and left very early so we basically just slept there - it was fine for that for the price. Would not recommend an extended stay..

Hotel is in a bad area. Beds are old. Only one elevator. Would not recommend

Nice hotel close to bay area

Breakfast was good, the room is small for double bed. We stay 3 nights they give only one shampoo , conditioner in one day. Housekeeping they didnt greet you just looking. Front desk staff was very helpful for check in and out, always greet you everytime you see them.

Convenient Location

We love staying here. It's close and convenient for us. We love that they have a shuttle service! Employee Pedro is one of nicest shuttle people. He's always friendly and nice to us. Front desk staff was okay. Not to friendly. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Made Me Nervous

I arrived late at night, sketchy characters were abundant. I was ground floor, discovered window slightly open. Drawers in dresser wouldn't stay closed. Breakfast good, staff nice.
