Terrible Night Stay

The bed was so old and hard that you could feel every individual spring. The bathroom was moldy and the shower head was at waist level. There was a used washcloth at the front door upon entry

Readiness of room for occupancy

Pros: Near the Bay.
Cons: Readiness of room and facilities.
1. It took 20 to check in. 2. The TV remote didn't work. 3. There was no hot water in the shower in the morning. 4. The manager Justine never called me back to address my complaints. Overall, very amateurish customer service.

Cleanliness of bedding.

The bedding sheets had soil stains on them and toilet had stained urine markings inside the toilet. The carpet was dirty in need of shampoo.

Great views

Great location w/ terrific views. Nice balcony. Room condition POOR. Electrical outlets were loose w/ burn marks, maybe not to code. Walls had gaps open to outdoors, furniture and rugs worn. However, comfortable and relaxing place.

Disappointing

Room had an odd smell, window was missing screen, closet doors also missing, could feel the springs in the mattress, and floors were filthy. Expected much more for the price.

smelly room

Pros: the location by the sea.
Cons: Replace the carpets and clean up the bathrooms
Location: alameda is beautiful little city, very cool architecture and cool little shops.
The staff was not very warm in greetings and the room i was given had a odor. I tried airing out the room and running the air conditioner to clean the smell. Did Not work , one of the staff installed a room freshner. that helped, but the smell was in the old rug! I wont go back.

Funky but Cool

Dissapointed

Cons: the whole condition of the rooms, the pool furniture
I have been staying at this motel for over 20 years. It has always been well manicured and clean, I always felt safe. This time I was stupefied by the condition it is in. They say they are renovating, my room was not renovated. The curtain was hanging off the rod, the bathroom door doesn't close all the way,huge marks on the wall, the toilet was broken, there is no outlets to plug in your charges/computer, the phone not plugged in, trash in the courtyard, all the chairs are broken at the pool, the gates to the pool are unlatched 24/7, the dryer is out of service. I felt llike I was in a cheap motel in Oakland. I won't be staying here again and this makes me sad,.

Filth. Avoid at all costs.

This place is the worst and for the price ($150 per night) a total rip off. See photos. Bed broken. Toilet broken. Door security locks broken. Blood (yes) all over comforter. Sheets were not changed. Vomit (yes) in trash can. What more is there to say. Unless you're Joe Walsh and want to trash the room this place is remarkably terrible.
