Staff was amazing and accommodated me by checking me in very early. Great room and right across the street from Bart station, so accessible to public transportation. Great food options closeby. Try to get a room with a view of the bay: the higher the floor the better! I was in the 20th floor! The best part was their customer service and I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

I like the professional staffer, especially the security guards. They made me feel very welcome. The food at the hotel restaurants was tasty but high priced.

We liked everything but seriously the parking should be included in the price. We were there 1 night and it was 45.00 to pay for parking. Not really excited about that.

We had booked and paid for a king bed, instead was given two doubles. I call nonsense that Expedia “booked it wrong” with them. Unacceptable

Really nice room and affordable also a great location. Could easily get to hot spots in Oakland. Check in was smooth and valet parking very convenient.

Won't book this place again
We booked an hour to play Top Golf and it was a disaster. The woman who set us up, walked away without giving us complete instructions how to use the system and we wasted most of our time having to restart the game because it kept having us play the same hole over and over. When we finally got past this, we played two holes and the system reset itself. We finally gave up. The restaurant/bar was open for a few hours in the am and then again in the pm. This was true even on Sunday when there were football games on all day. The bartender told us it was management cutting labor costs. The room was hot and muggy even with the AC on. Pillows were the softest and least effective I have ever used. Cheap, cut corners at every point, not up to Marriot standards. Friends stayed at the AC Marriot and we visited their location. Would rather have stayed there. Hotels.com site said price would be $183 including tax. When I arrived, the charge was $226 and we had no incidental charges. Seems like the website should be able to calculate all fees in advance.

Initially I thought that I had lost my wallet. They want a physical card to charge incidentals. Their “solution” was to cancel the reservation and give me a refund, and turn me out onto the street at 9:30 in Oakland, California. I did eventually find my wallet at the bottom of my backpack so I did not get turned it into the street. But that there was a real danger of this happening is enough. This is the stupidest policy in the history of hospitality and I will not patronize this entire stupid chain for a long as I live. What is wrong with you people.

Club Room Not Worth It
We paid for the highest priced club room, which was nothing special. I guess we paid for access to a club that we never went into. The room was not worth the price premium.

The property is older and sounds travel. The toilets made constant noise and I could hear the people in the next room playing loud music. The plumbing noises were unsettling and prevented getting good rest.
