Just like any other super 8

Posted Oct 21, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel has what you would expect from this hotel chain. My parents and I stayed at a two beds room and it was spacious enough for the 3 of us. It is a bit far away from bus stops and the Hayward BART station, so staying there requires either a car or a lot of walking. The continental breakfast was barely ok.

Don't take your shoes off

Posted Oct 19, 2015 on Hotels
There was what looked like blood on the lamp shade; walls and floor were filthy. I was afraid to take my shoes off, the floor was so bad. Bathroom at least was fairly clean.

Steer clear unless you are a heavy, heavy smoker

Posted Oct 19, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is absolutely disgusting. I travel a lot in developed and under developed countries, both on and off-grid. This was easily one of the worst hotels I have ever been in, and that says something. Non-smoking rooms are in-between smoking rooms, so every single room simply reeks of smoke. The first room we were assigned was very, very clearly smoked in for many years. They gave us 2 separate rooms (they were out of the doubles), and these rooms were less disgusting but moldy and just as smoky. (To be expected given the fact that smoke permeates air vents, doors, walls, etc. If 1 rooms smokes, we all smoke.) The outdoor, exposed stairwells, were simply gagging in smoke. We were there overnight, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone even passing through. Super 8 should be ashamed to have this location under their name.

our one night stay

Posted Oct 6, 2015 on Hotels
While were only staying one night we found that the hot water in the bathroom sink only had cold water and the ceiling in the shower area was falling down the carpet had ground in grease or gum spots and there were fruit flies in the room. The selections on the television not so good and no guide as to what stations were available. The staff the lady when we checked in not very friendly and the man who checked us out didn't know how to print a receipt it took a while. Need to be trained a little better

One night stay is ok

Posted Sep 24, 2015
Nothing fancy. The only sketchy part is that the bedroom has a door that opens to the next room with complete strangers. The bedroom sheets is dirty and it seems like they don't clean very often.

Big room with comfortable beds

Posted Sep 23, 2015
This hotel's two-bed room is very big, clean. It has microwave and refrigerator. The beds are large and comfortable. The location is good, and there are resturants nearby. Very convenient location. The staff is very friendly. We like the hotel.
