Nice outbreak from modern style

Nice little room with old-style solid wood furniture. Very good and efcective heating - very nice in the cold winter conditions. Breakfast was also superior, all local meat stuff + general items, tea, coffee, juices, etc.

Rustic Guesthouse in a great location

Posted Oct 18, 2016 on Hotels
Overall a comfortable stay. when we arrived we were met by a young man who checked us in efficiently and was very helpful and pleasant. However the lady at the front desk the next morning ignored us and we did not have a pleasant check out experience.

We would recommend this hotel

We received a lovely, personal welcome. The traditional room was beautiful and the standard of food was fantastic. If it is warm enough then we suggest you eat outside in the lovely area set aside. It gets busy and this creates a lovely atmosphere.

Summer break in the Alps

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: The location, restaurant and the staff
Cons: The bed was too soft
Location: In a small village, plenty of way marked walks, excellent tourist information with suggestions for walks and free bus pass for visitors.
Great location for moderate walking and visiting the area of the INN valley. The accomodation was good; food, beer and wine great and a good beer garden experience.

Friendly, comfortable family run guest house.

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The slightly quiry rooms and the relaxed atmosphere and service in the beer garden.
Location: Its only a 10 km drive across the border to Walchsee in Austria - recommended for walks around its lake or take the chair lift up the mountain side.
The hotel is hidden away at the back of the village. The accomodation area and rooms are very quaint and cosy with everything built from local wood (furniture, fittings, wall panels etc). Comfortable beds, small but clean shower room / toilet and the rooms are also large enough to accomodate a table and some chairs - more like small suiterooms, actually. The beer garden and restaurant provide a great service of drinks and food (from 6.00pm) with friendly , English speaking waitresses. A good continental buffet breakfast provided in a largish dining room with plenty of seating. Not much to do in the village, really, but the guest house itself provided all you need for evenings in between your daytime activities out and about in Bavaria or Austria.
