extreme traffic noise from I75 & 200

Pros: Staff was great!
Cons: Renovation, sound proofing, attention to detail (e.g. regular coffee in room, TV works)
staff was very nice, but property is dated & located just off I75 & on fla hwy 200…very noisy! Woke up @ 4:30a only to find that my tv did not work & I only had decaff coffee in my room…I packed up & left…bye bye Country Inn & Suites!!!!!

Great hotel. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast more than expected. Pool was nice and heated. I really enjoyed myself and would definitely come and stay again.

Too Close to the Interstate

Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Fix the TV's to not be such a pain. Tear down the hotel and move to a better location away from the noisy interstate.
Location: Too close to Interstate.
Our room 506 Suite was too close to the Interstate. Very noisy all night long. Very hard to sleep. Plus both TV's in our room had problems. Had to call the front desk twice, 1 for the living room and 1 for the bedroom. The remotes did not work properly and you could not change the channels with remotes. Had to leave on 1 channel all the time to not risk TV going blank with white fuzzy lines. Also, when we checked in they sent us to our room which was not ready. Still not cleaned or made up from previous guest. Had to sit in lobby while they worked on it.

Pros: Location, cleanliness, breakfast
Cons: The entrance to the parking lot is quite awkward; it is actually the entrance to a small gas station.
Location: Located on major highway with shopping, restaurants, and malls.
This hotel is just off I-75 so it is definitely a convenient location for travelers. The hotel is clean, updated for the most part, and sensitive to travelers' needs. Check-in was efficient; the room was quiet even though the hotel is near the interstate and on a major thoroughfare, and the breakfast had hot, good-tasting entrees as well as the usual continental fare. It is near any chain restaurant one would want.

Decent, nothing special but all was fine

The hotel is your typical chain hotel, nestled in between 2 very busy roads and surrounded by restaurants (mostly chains) and close to a mall. The room (suite?) was much smaller than expected but the king bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and nice. Pullout couch not so comfortable, but they never are. We asked for the quietest room they had, but they basically don't have any, at least on the front face of the building. Lots of traffic noise. The pool is a great feature - the reason we booked there - and as far as I can tell this is one of the only hotels in the area that has one. It's tiny but did the trick, our kids are small so aren't yet picky. It may have some mineral water in there because it turned my silver jewelry black? However on the night we checked in the staff person (who was a bit rude anyway) failed to tell us that the pool would be closing the following day for repairs. When we showed up in our suits the next morning the staff people apologetically said it was closed, but since no one had warned us they let us swim until the contractors arrived. All in all - not a resort, and certainly cramped, but serves its purpose well otherwise.

Arrived late, very tired. Front desk not helpful in providing assistance with places to find dinner. Wish I had taken a photo of bathroom door. A sheet of something that looked like paper with loads of hair in it. A wadded up, used washcloth in the corner of the tub.
