Had to switch rooms

Cons: Ensuring that the rooms are clean and working properly (maybe getting a room check off list for the staff?)
Location: Fleamarkets, museums- Don Garlets:Drag Racing,
Our 1st room was less then what I had expected -VERY.dirty, broken knob on bathroom door, broken fan sensor literally hanging out of the wall and the non smoking room smelling of smoke. I was very grateful that the staff was able to find us another room (there was a Florida/Georgia game that weekend) and the second room was wonderful. Clean, smelled neutral, and room fixtures working and hanging properly.

walk in shower floor doesn't drain properly holds water air conditioner weak rooms not very sound proof

very friendly staff, clean rooms

Pros: staff location
Cons: a.c unit
Location: Shopping, cracker barrel and waffle house within walking distance
The a/c unit was so noisy had to turn off in order to sleep. then the room was too warm

ok for overnight stay

Pros: not your typical cookie cutter Holiday Inn
Cons: Include breakfast for up to the room capacity (when you book a rate including breakfast) or don't offer that rate at all-otherwise it's bait & switch
Location: right off of Interstate 75
Tempur-pedic mattresses - very comfortable. Problem with rooms is limited counter space - and only 1 suitcase stand. Bedroom had one night stand (between the queen beds, and a 3' wide of drawers that had a tv on it which took up the whole top and same thing in sitting room with pull out - (the TV was on the only 3' chest of drawers) and it had a little end table. The only mirror in the room was located in bathroom with commode and shower- so this delayed everyone getting ready in morning. This was the most unique Holiday Inn I've been in with an Asian theme throughout the lobby and fusion restaurant on the top floor. Piano music throughout lobby was very nice- relaxing. Our main issue was we reserved higher rate room because it said it included breakfast but got there and found they only give you a breakfast voucher for 2 people - and it didn't matter of whether they were kids or not (because they consider everyone in the room to be an adult). If you are booking a suite for 4 people (that states that it sleeps up to 5 people) either include breakfast for everyone or not at all. Did not expect to pay another $20 for our daughters breakfast with their limited menu so we left annoyed and went somewhere else (for breakfast). This is a bad policy - the front desk claimed it was an expedia issue - not theirs but refused to do anything about it.

We had a quick and polite check-in by the gentleman at the front. Room was nice and clean, my only complaint about it is the A/C. A/C was very loud almost annoying at night to sleep with but other then that the room was clean and up to date. We also used the pool which was clean and maintained.

Dirty underwear under the bed

We walked into the room and got unpacked and while we were doing that my wife found somebody else's dirty underwear under the bed. We left the hotel and literally did not sleep in the hotel one night. We have attempted to contact the manager for a refund but they will not return our calls. It's very disappointing for a big company to treat their guests this way when something so disgusting happened. So not only are the rooms unsanitary but the management doesn't care to return calls to resolve problems
