Pros: their breakfast. and the cleaniness.
Cons: nope.
When I got to the hotel the front desk attendant was very courteous end knowledgeable about my needs .The service of what it was around the hotel facilities was superb.Im recommending this hotel to all my friend that are visiting famile and other friends around Ocala and vicinities.

We enjoyed our stay relaxed at the pool and amazing breakfast also front desk was incredibly nice. Only issue was they tried slipping $10 charge for parking without letting us know

Room clean and bed so comfy. Concerned on billing

Pros: The front desk clerks very nice and concerned about my issues. My room was very clean, bed comfy, and peaceful. Felt safe at night.
Cons: Accounting. Must be on track to avoid these issues and be aware. I had to prove my charges. I feel concerned know one is overlooking.
Location: The location is central
Overall the experience was great since I have a bit of OCD on clean. My room was cleaned daily during my stay. My only issues was that I was charged double (on separate forms of payment). My reservation was booked on expedia with a debit card and I asked to make sure that no payment till check in. When I checked in I said clearly to charge on my major credit card everything not my debit card on file. The front desk clerk said ok. Usually I carry only my debit card so that is why the reservation was confirmed with that card. Expedia.com ensured me that no charges will be made until my check in and it is ok to change form of payment just let the front desk know. In the morning my banks let me know of my charges and holds. Disappointment was that I had to wait over 24 hours to get it resolved. Thankfully I had my mobile bank app to prove that both cards where charged 199.99 plus deposits (debit cards is another 199.99) so I had no cash available for my trip first 2 days. Expedia.com says its the hotels charge, hotel says its expedia.com and my bank, my bank says the hotel must cancel holds and refund. So after my stay I realized that I checked in Monday 1145pm spent Tuesday going back and forth (no hotel manager on premises), Wednesday still going on till I finally spoke with manager that evening (I had to wait and look for him) to get this resolved. So Thursday I had cash to enjoy and check out Friday. I paid 4 nights enjoyed one. I will not use expedia.com ever again.

Microtel Ocala

Pros: I enjoyed the smaller less hectic style of the hotel.
Cons: The only thing I would suggest is having the carpet steamed cleaned. As a flooring contractor I'm picky about clean carpets.
I had no issues with the hotel. Its smaller than most larger companies, ie Hyatt, Holiday Inn, and the parking lot is smaller as well. The lot was never completely full so parking was no issue. I am not surprised some pass over this location due to its smaller size but I was quite pleased. The staff were pleasant, housekeeping was done well and the rooms are clean. Particularly enjoyed the large wall mirror over the headboard. Great for the couples and parents to keep a quick eye on the kids. I did not have any issues with noise from other guest rooms. The morning buffet was small but very satisfactory, pastries, egg, sausage, several bread options, cereal, coffee, milf OJ and the such. I will definitely be returning.

Cons: better cleaning
Curtain in room was off hooks, dust on top of cabinet by tv. I was charged by Expedia for this room and also by the hotel.

Quiet, excellent staff

Pros: We loved the staff.
Cons: Updating the rooms a little.
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is older but the room was very comfortable and clean. We loved that it was so quiet and not sitting on the main highway. The best things going for this MicroTel is the "staff". Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The continental breakfast was very good.
