“Fire alarm beeping all night after I asked twice to be looked at. Pool was not available because they said it was too cold. Outdated facilities. ”

“You get what you pay for, and clearly this was the least expensive option. There’s a reason for it. There were bugs on the floor crawling around. The light switch didn’t work, and overall if felt dingy. But…. It was half the price of the next cheapest option.”

“I had read reviews saying the property was clean. I was only looking for a place to sleep for myself and my daughter, as we would be leaving early to tour UF. I sent a message to the property letting them know we would be a late check-in, probably around 11pm. They said that was fine. I received an email that gave me the following information: Gainesville Lodge 3: (insert 4 numbers not leaving that information in case they re-use codes). We made it right before 11. Staff is only present 8a-8p. I……

“If you still want to grab a piece of that old Florida feel before it's gone...check this girchy hotel out. It's scheduled to be torn down sometime in the future and replaced with one of our fine Florida concrete mausoleum style hotels. There might be some paint peeling, some things might be outdated and it's definitely not the Hilton. But it's old Florida at its finest...on the bay with a nice little bar and restaurant where you won't overpay for the food and drinks. Grab a memory and take it……

“We had left something in the room and we had to drive back a long distance we called the manager and his staff found it and they held on to it until we could get a hold of it very professional really great hotel looks on the outside not too much but inside and staff wonderful we will go back to this hotel if we go back to visit would highly recommend it.”
